The thing about signing Wicks is that if he is crap or a trouble maker you can just sack him. Simple. He'll be cheap, you'll get him on a one + one contract in the club's favour, and the NRL won't say boo if you punt him after a fortnight.

If he can't get an NRL gig then the Western Suburbs Rosellas (maggots) in Newcastle will sign him. They wanted Ryan Tandy, signed Brad Murray, and have had a few other former bad boys both the radar and on the books over the years.

I'm hearing good rumours that Fetuli Talanoa currently at Hull FC is looking at a return to the NRL. Clubs with lack of depth in the backs are looking at him, namely Melbourne and the Broncos. He would be on minimum wage so it wouldn't be a bad signing.

He is awful. I was extremely happy when Souths let him go. He nearly makes my worse South's side ever and that is saying something. I feel sorry for any team that considers him.

They might bring back Talanoa and Pettybourne

No, just Talanoa.

Fetuli was previously on the Broncos roster, but they cut him loose so he could play in England for Hull. However, Fetuli wants to come home, and his old club and the Melbourne Storm and interested.

The Storm are notorious for turning rocks into diamonds so it wouldn't necessarily be a bad fit.

The broncos have decent depth in the backs, that talanoa rumour linking him to the broncos is from a few seasons ago.
