Roosters have some Rookies in their backs, bomb them all day long.

I have a feeling we could get up here!

We just need to watch the video or the Sharks v Roosters MacDonald had no idea. Same tactics.

If we start well who knows I think the short turnaround will get us late but happy to be proven wrong

Mansour is hopeful of playing according to his interview with Spud on the Panthers website. I'd say the short turnaround kills that chance, but they kept mentioning how the news was better then first expected and that it's touch and go, and that he hopes to be right to play this weekend.

Other then that, he had no time frame on when he would definitely be fit. Would be pretty awesome if we can use that 1-17. Means we aren't using someone out of position on the wing.

We only train once this week so I say Ivan's weighing up options. I can't see Mansour being fit. assuming Simmons isn't back. I think we will go Bryce at 6. Moylan fullback and DWZ wing. That works aswell as we have an advantage in the backs and need actual wingers to kick to

Yeah if we only train once this week i'd be suprised if we run out as named. Bryce in 6 would be interesting just to see him play 80.

DWZ played fb last week for NYC, the last time he was at fb before that I think was in NSW Cup three rounds before his NRL debut? And it was when he was sharing the position with someone else, swapping there from wing during the game.

Yeah Ivan probably just named a team as we didn't train since the game. You would think Docker would be in some doubt to. Not sure how long after the game you need to do the concussion tests

I was bloody shocked Docker came back out given his knock last week and his history. After whats happened with Fulton I hope they are being cautious with him.

I wasn't. He looked fine and given the circumstances they took the risk. Though given he was in a coma a couple of years ago and 5 concussions in 8 weeks. No matter how minor has to be a concern.

Yeah he looked ok when he came back out but it was a solid head clash, the replays weren't pretty.

Looking at the line ups I get the feeling our pack is too small for this. Massive Roosters forwards JWH, Moa, FPN are just going to lay on us forever in the ruck.

Headgear doesnt do anything to limit concussions apparently, just protects the outer layers if that makes sense.

Yep matching them in the middle is my concern as well, just not sure that we can. We will need plenty if numbers in tackles and lots of options for all ballrunners to try and keep them guessing a bit. Sowies kicking game will need to be on point as well.

We wont beat them just going one out.

Not the 1st time this year we have played a bigger pack. A day game they may get tired which helps us. Though that said if Docker's not fine to go Grant should come in give us 3 props on the bench

The backs we have the advantage though barring Yeo on the wing again of course

I thought we handled the big Souths pack when we played them. We had decent field position for much of that game. Couldn't buy a try though.
