I also have no doubt, that if McGregor is given the opportunity, he may well built our club as a long term force in the NRL.
If you have no doubt then why say "he may well"?
Just askin'.

Paul McGregor, without a shadow of doubt, in my opinion, is the perfect fit, as the long term head coach of the St George Illawarra Dragons.
McGregor has the best interests of the Dragons at heart, he is red and white, through and through.
McGregor has served a lengthy apprenticeship in may aspects at the Dragons, not only playing at the highest level, but also many support and co-ordination roles within the club.
During his coaching tenure with Wests Illawarra, his club literally won every conceivable award, for the three seasons he was at the helm.
At the Illawarra Cutters, McGregor had a disruptive weekly roster, as such is the nature of the feeder competition, but still preformed admirably under the circumstances.
I've noticed, just in the short period of time that McGregor's been charge of our NRL team, that there's definitely more structure, purpose, direction and confidence within the playing roster.
Our players seem to be "buying into" McGregor's coaching theories.
I now get the impression, that there seems to be a feeling that our players now feel personally responsible when losing a game, they don't want to let their coach down.
McGregor certainly has that "aura" about him, of respect and mutual trust.
I have observed a coach that is forthright honest in his assessment of our team and individuals and is articulated in communicating with the media.

um, no thanks. We need an experienced coach to take us through the next 3-4 years not a rookie coach with 6 games under his belt.
With the announcement that Matt Parish is leaving the raiders, will he end up at the Dragons?
I am pretty sure that Browny and Mary did work together before Bennett came in and Browny left to go to ESP and Mary got let go by Bennett.
I would take Browny back in a heart beat. Out of all coaches available he would be the best choice for me. He would come back a different man with much more experience which can only be a good thing.
MumDon't be surprised if Nathan Brown ends up as coach of the Wests Tigers in 2015. Potter is on the outer and Brian Smith has done a review of the clubs coaching structure & they are old mates from Dragons days. I don't know if there's any truth to stories that Doust & Brownie had a falling out & don't get on anymore. Anyone heard anything that supports Brownies reluctance to return to the Dragons ?
Thanks pal.Como Doust has the final say and he's a Dragons man so your Illawarra conspiracy is like your facts utter crap.
Actually, Doust is appointed by the board and is ultimately answerable to them.Como Doust has the final say
