Hard to believe that's all he said. Badger's reaction was pretty immediate.

Not really. Problem is they should have cracked down on this ages ago. Any other player other than the captain shouldn't be talking to the ref anyway.

Badger's action for this incident was fine. What we all aware of though is the gross inconsistency in their actions from one game to the next. IMO there should be many more sin binning per game to clean things up. There are some players getting away with things unthinkable 20 years ago. Last week in the Tigers Bulldogs match there was a trip - should have been automatic sin bin. Broncos vs Storm - Storm player took out broncos chaser in the 1st half - was penalised, but again should have been sent to the bin.

No issue with it. The CAPTAIN and ONLY the captain is permitted to have running battles with the ref. I wish they binned more players, let the players play the game. All captains are bad enough whinging about decisions let alone the other 12 players on the field doing the same thing!

If the OP wasn't being such a whinging bitch about it I would actually like to hear people's opinions on whether or not simply using a curse word while talking to the ref should be a sin bin.

I think it should, however we all know that it never is. thurston in particular swears like a sailor at refs every game and never gets pinged. Ennis was swearing at a ref constantly a few weeks back and got nothing as well.

Odd that Badger picked last night to suddenly become offended by the F word

If the swear word is directed at the ref, as I suspect it was last night, then JWH migĥ have a further case to answer
