You can probably get another half a dozen strikers in before the season starts

Tons of time.

Good business by both clubs you have to say. Lukaku seemed to really enjoy his time under Martinez and at Everton. And I don't think 24-25 million is too much when it's likely to be paid over 3 years from what I read. Sorry just read its 28 million, still a good deal IMO

How much did you pay for Lukaku Jimbo/Haff?

Hard to say without knowing what the add-ons amount to. It would still be something in the teens though

So we've made at least ten million, plus loan fees

minus wages.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? Lukaku to me seems pretty close to putting it all together consistently.

It's a pity his attitude now is so much different than when he arrived

The problem was that he wanted guaranteed game time, which is not something you can demand at Chelsea

If Cech is prepared to fight for his spot, Lukaku should have been prepared to as well

Yeah, nice bit of business for all involved I'd say if that's the case.

13 million rising to 18 million Euro was the fee reported out of Belgium at the time of his transfer.

Nando's was only better because it sparked the Willian song. Mo's song will be pumping this season and that's just as anti Spurs.

If my club pays 50 mil for a striker I want at least 25-30 goals a season. I don't think there is a logical argument to say Torres was a success and worth 50 mil.

Not content with completely ruining the poor guy, it seems they are going to not sell fernando and prolong his misery. He must have really pissed someone off..

Or no one wants to pay the cash Chelsea want for a once awesome striker, how long would it take to dechelsea him?
