and hopefully making plans to unlock us from our love affair with forwards, particularly back rowers

lets get back to the days of entertaining football where it was a pleasure to watch our backline that had speed and skill and was supported by value for money forwards like nathan long, sean ryan, nick graham etc..

buy a decent centre ffs.. laumape from warriors looks like a machine

The half back issue will be decided by Flanagan and thats a concern, if he decides to go the 5 hit ups boot then Nu Brown wont see much ball.

The halfback will most probably be Robson or a clone, remember we purchased Holdsworth as backup.

If we went the option of ball movement which we were doing till yesterday the halfback option is totally different DCE is not off contract till end of next year and would he come here who knows, we could make play for Albert Kelly for next season plays off the cuff, with him and Brown we would certainly be getting ball to the backs.

Ennis will control direction on field and having fully fit players like Fifita, Toops & Taga all ball players Kelly/Brown halves could be entertaining option

Ah didn't Kelly act like an idiot and get sacked? And then he repeated that performance at Newcastle? He seems to have finally grown up after the move to the Titans.

That's what I thought too. I was one of the few that didn't want to see him go at the time.

He's like Todd Carney, if he didnt go that time, he'd reoffend & be facing the music again in the future. We got rid of him when we had to, as did the Knights.

Agreed. My point was that I thought we got rid of him for playing up, not because of Carney and Robbo. I'd still take him back too.

Kelly is the example of a off the cuff half that would help, thats they type of player we are needing, they can spark the backline and be following players like Fifita, Taga, Toops and even Prior these guys dangerous with ball but need to have the support to really be effective

Well if he had smashed up a motel room we could of dropped him off to a Benny Barba Rehab Centre and give him a week or two to get over all his demons.

The only problem with that is that the Donkeys seem to have the inside running on signing rehabs from the Benny Barba Rehab Clinics.

I'm hearing Jack Bird(dragons)is very close to inking a deal with the club. A future rep player no doubt. Hard as nails

He plays in the back row mate. Believe it or not I thinks it's a position we are now very much in need of. I know some dragon officials are quietly fuming

Cheers for that. I agree. Gal 'could' be wiped out, as could Wade and Toopoo. Lewis not really firing means we could be a bit light on there.
