Shhhh You mention he who must not be defamed...

I would have thought it was a reasonable goal to not defame anyone, you cum guzzling fairy.

Just kidding, I like your style and would never defame you.

But seriously, get f**ked.

Is this the quality centre Seward mentioned we would target?

He's not useless, but he has been completely unwanted to the point of being rejected by the Tigers.

I am losing all faith in our management.

They make grand statements but are complete amateurs when it comes to actually getting anything over the line.

It looks like our talent acquisition program is going to be limited to the bargain bin:

Reece Robinson, brad takairangi, Shannon McPherson, beau champion, Danny wicks, Richie Faoso?

This is how we spread the salary cap left by our elite

That's beyond dysfunctional.

We want to talk about how we are world leaders and visiy nfl teams.

All that's done is hand our one great player to another code.

Meanwhile we buy players from England, jail, and the injury scrap heap or who can't get a run anywhere else.

Are people seriously happy with this?

Can anyone see anything but another twenty years of mediocrity heading towards a merger or relocation in that time?

In all fairness we have only had Haynes money for a week. Most decent players are snapped up before then. By all reports we were going to be over the cap next year before Hayne left. Most of those signings would be on second tier contracts accordingly.

Quite frankly I'm happy with this recruitment so far. I'd prefer to not overspend and use the cap space next year to front load contracts in order to more effectively compete in the player market for 2016.

I was happy with our recruitment before Hayne left.
Now it just looks bloody average, but there's not much we can do about it.

Thats right, we have had this money for a week and yet any decent player already has a contract for next season.

What does Sterlo have against Sandow? he said on the grill team or rush hour(one of those triple m shows) that with the money freed up with Hayne leaving we should get a new halfback.
Sandow was one of our best this season and won the Ken Thornett medal.
What quality halfbacks will be on the market come 2016? I'm pretty sure DCE will stay at Manly, especially if Watmough is playing with us.
If we can sign someone better then Sandow of course we should sign them,at this point in time there's not a lot of quality halfbacks out there to sign.
I personally think we should keep him, he puts in 100% every game.

Nice rant, but I would have thought all clubs need depth players.

Sandow will probably look pretty ordinary next year when he becomes the major focus for all our attacking options. He at least had some freedom to just do what he wanted with The Plane masking the rest of the teams attacking inabilities.

With our forwards not showing any propensity to be able to consistently win the play the ball area, if we're going to rely on Sandow to be our major attacking focus we will be in for a long year. A dummy and go yourself just isn't going to worry the opposition when there is no Plane around to save us all.

You do realise every club makes these types of signings....

Given the situation we're in I'm happy with happy with short-term deals for guys like Takairangi, so that we have greater flexibility to sign who we want for 2016-onwards......and yeh, frontloading players that we wish to retain next year makes a fair bit of sense.

I'm assuming that the chances of hiring a huge Pakistani marquee player at this point of the signing calendar is small.

Is this the quality centre Seward mentioned we would target? Surely not?

He's not useless, but he has been completely unwanted to the point of being rejected by the Tigers. That's correct

I am losing all faith in our management. No comment

They make grand statements but are complete amateurs when it comes to actually getting anything over the line. True

It looks like our talent acquisition program is going to be limited to the bargain bin:

Reece Robinson, brad takairangi, Shannon McPherson, beau champion, Danny wicks, Richie Faoso? As I have said, I have no issues with us signings players, but if they are of equal or better in regards to skills, etc and are below what we are replacing, then it's a concern

This is how we spread the salary cap left by our elite We haven't used the money yet

That's beyond dysfunctional.

We want to talk about how we are world leaders and visiy nfl teams. Wait till you read about the study tour the club is doing, it's fantastic

All that's done is hand our one great player to another code. It would of helped his decision

Meanwhile we buy players from England, jail, and the injury scrap heap or who can't get a run anywhere else. That's a valid point

Are people seriously happy with this? You would have to ask the forum members that question via a poll

Let's hope this is not the case and that we go forward

I enjoyed reading that Big Fella
