If the rumoured exchange for Hunt is on, then you are already paying!!! Hunt is not cut out for the top grade, and there is no chance he is passable as a backup. Waste of a roster spot that could be used more productively.

I suspect the two clubs are just doing each other a favour by removing a backup from each club's top 25.

Regarding the 'coming back to bite us' thing, Jake Mullaney was another backup fullback who was a bit small, but he did get MotM in a win over his old club Wests.

South Coast junior, played in a very good culburra 18's side that won a group 7 premiership along with his mate Dylan Farrell - while neither are superstars it is a bloody amazing effort for a small club like culburra (one of smaller group seven clubs) to produce two NRL players from the same age group.

Still young with potential and can play in the halves
