A Night with Eels Legends- What would you ask?

Personally I'd like to know how Cayless, Burt and Hindy feel every time they hear the stupid media refer to any Storm player being called premiership winners for anything pre 2012?

Especially Hindy cause he sits across from the Storm loving Johns twice a week.

It is a pointless question though because we will always get diplomatic answers like "well we didn't win and they did on the night" but that is not the point. I know we didn't win but the Storm were also disqualified for cheating so they did not win either.

I'd really like to know how they feel because I know as just a simple fan that it broke me and that I like nothing more than seeing those cheats lose and I wish nothing but bad things to happen to them for the rest of that clubs existence!

How could the players (who actually played in that game and cost them the premiership they truly deserved) ever truly accept that?

Once again Hindy, who has to listen to them rev him up twice a week multiple times about not winning a premiership be so call about it especially when they reference the Storm and that game in the same sentence, which does happen?

Some interesting questions coming from people who have never achieved anything in their lives to actual regular first grade footballers.

Grow the f**k up!

Never achieved anything in our lives?
I've achieved plenty, mate. Just because I never played First Grade rugby league doesn't mean I haven't achieved anything.

There are plenty of serious questions in this thread for Larissa to look through. Nothing wrong with having a little fun.

Luke burt and Nathan cayless: how do you guys feel for robbing parramatta for years, and where will your love child protégée Ryan Morgan be f**king off.

This question is downright disrespectful! If you think that is a bit of fun then I guess we'll believe you're a racist when your brother took over your phone?

You miss the point, criticising players to the extent some people do is ridiculous because they have achieved nothing in their lives in Rugby League! That is what I meant, sorry you took it that way.

To Hindy, is Matthew Johns really a massive f**kwit, or does he just act like one on all forms of media?

you could ask hindy how close he has come to smacking matty or fletch in the mouth when they heap shit on him about the eels losing & him never winning a premiership but he would be too polite to say what he really thinks

Question to the number one legend of them all, Mick Cronin.

If you were playing today, what position do you think you would play?

Also, do you ever wonder how your massive point scoring record stacks up against those guys who have only played in the era of the four point try?

Supplementary Question: Or do you think the old 3 point try rule worked in your favour, as teams were much more likely to take shots at penalty goal?

What went wrong with not passing on the Terry Fearnley, Jack Gibson, Ron Massey and John Monie culture?

Who is responsible?

Bit of a tough question given that Cronin is on the panel. I guess he could blame Hilditch.

But an important question that must be looked at, learnt from and instilled in this club so that it never happens again....:crazy:

1986 to 2014/2015 = 28/29 years without winning another premiership.
1947 to 1981 = 33 years without a premiership.

Can appreciate 3 to 10 years but f**k me, not 28 to 33 year droughts.

I also follow this club to experience winning a premiership here and there every ten years.
I'm a deeply loyal 53 years Eels fan who lives to win a few premierships every twenty seasons.
What question is more important than asking why our club is not winning a few premierships every ten to twenty years???

I actually missed that post.
I know my posts were a bit tongue-in-cheek and not really to be taken seriously. I'm wondering if the poster who wrote that actually means it.

It would definitely be disrespectful to ask questions like these (the non-serious ones anyway) to their faces. One thing is for sure...no one here is likely to ever do that.
People don't always believe what they write on the internet.

The example you brought up about my brother is a good example - sure I didn't write it...he did. But he's actually not a racist.
He's just a jerk.

In any case, I am sorry that the thread is derailed.
I will refrain from ruining it any further.

My father always reckoned Mick Cronin would be really good at five-eight.
He always played as a sort of pivot for the attack in the middle of the back-line. Would have been a bloody big five-eight, though. (My answer to your question would be that I'd keep him in the centres. I reckon Mick's style of centre play would be perfect in today's game.)

Well, the club (specifically, Larissa, in this case) try to reach out to the fans a little bit and get them involved with past players. And this is the response. They must think we're a bunch of fourteen year olds.

I would like to compliment Larissa for trying to connect with the fans. This is greatly appreciated and hope you try it again in the future. Cheers

Larissa

Steve Edge: Do you think if John Peard had stayed as coach, would Parra have had the same success in the 80's that we had under Jack Gibson?
Neville Glover: I've got nothing.
Steve Sharp: How are you coping after spending the last few months getting beaten up in the media (unfairly IMO) by not only gutter journalism but also former team-mates and mates?
Geoff Gerard: Sorry, got nothing.
Peter Wynn: Sorry, got nothing.
Mick Cronin: Do you hold any regrets that you didn't achieve as much success as an NRL coach that you did as a player?
Nathan Cayless: Which Ref was the most prickly to deal with?
Nathan Hindmarsh: Do you think people percieved you differently after releasing your Autobiography? i.e. gambling issues.
Mick Vella: I would have asked him about his health, but i spoke to him a couple of months ago at a game and he said he's doing really well. How did he enjoy his time in the UK Superleague?
Paul Mares: Do you hold any regrets that injuries probably stopped you from reaching your full potential?
Luke Burt: Did you ever consider going to the UK Super League?
