I'd send Gray to the Storm

I can't see much great talent in Gray,TBH.

But he has received pretty good raps all along the way[Juniors etc]so Sths obviously see a fair future for him.
He always seems to be swathed in bandages or hobbling around the place which is a worry.

He had a good run with scoring tries though so his positional play is good.

He looks backup material to me.

I like Goodwin more!!

Any winger who rushes in to shut down a play and misses the tackle is suspect. Gray did so three times against Manly, bet that's why Maguire dropped him. The Manly winger, was it Hickoo (? and who cares) scored three try's on Gray's wing.

Maybe Maguire can fix him, I'd shunt him but I ain't the coach.

We seemed much more stable against the Cowboys without Gray and the Cowboys have better wingers than Manly.

Just a few points because i cant be bothered quoting everyone.

I heard McInnes started running again last week so hopefully he's ready to play on Friday if need be. If not we have Clark

Dylan Walker to hooker is one of the most stupid ideas ive heard in my life

At the moment; Goodwin > Gray, in the long term though I can see the opposite. Don't forget Gray is only 21, playing out of position and is injured atm. When he gets more experience, is fit and playing centre he'll do well.

Sutton to 5-8th next week
Stewart slots back into the 2nd row
Mcinnes in for luke
Carter keeps his place to help out Mcinnes
Personally would swap gray for Goodwin but don't expect their to be any unforced changes

I think you will find McInnes is out for the year so will be Carter or Sorensen. I'm pretty sure Carter will get the hooking gig this week.

Of course not I agree.

Clark had one of the best games I've ever seen him play.

11 hit ups 99m, 22 tackles, 1 try, 2 tackle breaks.

Clark gave us great energy off the bench.

Another point is Clark is a lot more experienced and level headed than Brown.

There is no reason Clark couldn't play hooker.

I think Sorensen must be out injured. I haven't seen him named for the bears for months!

I heard that McInnes is running again so he should be back soon.

I'd much prefer Carter as hooker over McInnes. McInnes has had many many opportunities and disappointed each time. Carter looks much bigger and much faster and seems to be able to take on the defense better.

The idea of Sutton at 5/8, with his bicep injury, is ludicrous as is Stewart, so for mine its Cody Walker at 5/8.

I was thinking that Madge might play Sutto at 5/8 early and bring on Cody later in the game when the big forwards are tiring.

You don't think a bicep injury might negate smooth operation of Sutton's passing game?

Yeah i'm somewhat concerned about that too.

Lichaa is out for the Dogs and apparently Aiden Tolman is in some doubt so we should be punch for punch.

I'd like to see Cody put in but it's gonna be a hard game for him to debut in, but i'd have complete faith if he was named.

I'm becoming tied of McGuire's conservative approach to player selection.

it's going to be interesting to see the line up madge goes with. with storm looking like they are going to win tonight against the sharks, and having the knights in melb next week, souths will probably have to beat the dogs to stay in the top 4..
