Never seen a ref drop the ball, miss a tackle, give a Kimmorley hospital or intercept pass, miss a goal, kick out on the full.

Not once.

Anyone who blames a ref, is quite simply making excuses.

But Hey Manly love refs.

A Tigers supporter I bumped into about 5 weeks ago said he is starting to get sick of the NRL. He said he reckon refs have a major influence on the result of games.

He said he turns matches off at times due to terrible one sided refing.

And what of these "statistics" that a "board member" of the referees committee gave you, that were just proven to be absolute bullshit with the simplest of internet searches?

Is that truth telling?

No it's a mistake.

It was alien, wasn't it?

Is this award for season 2015 or calendar year 2015?

Quite possible a large meltdown will occur in this thread over the next 2.5 months and take the prize.

Probably from poll candidates... as they love prising things.

No it's a mistake.

Which part? Believing some nuffy in the crowd is part of the refs committee, or posting the garbage in the first place as if it is fact?

Since I'm bored and have nothing better to do, I decided to look how much of a mistake it really is.

Win percentages under Cecchin

Storm - 69.57% (plus a draw)
Roosters - 66.67%
Bulldogs - 58.33%
Cowboys - 57.89%
Souths - 57.69%
Broncos - 54.55%
Sharks - 50.00%
Dragons - 47.83%
Knights - 47.37%
Panthers - 47.06%
Titans - 46.67%
Warriors - 41.18%
Manly - 39.13% (plus a draw)
Tigers - 37.50%
Raiders - 31.58%
Eels - 29.41%

Souths overall win percentage in the same period is 58.17%. You're right, you definitely have a reason to think he screws Souths.

Manly's record caught my eye out of all of that. They have an overall win percentage of 60%, but 39% with Cecchin.

For starters stop being rude.

Not many at all on LU admit to a mistake.

Believing the guy was a mistake.

But I still stand by nearly everything I posted.

All shit aside, In general I think R20 is a decent guy. Obviously young, gets a bit carried away and before alien turned him into a troll didn't get involved in shit slinging. There's still hope he can come good.

Your first sentence is spot on.

The rest isn't!

Some banter is all good though!!!

if a ref is fair towards your team most of the time, but against a few teams he is unfair towards your team, it isn't that hard to see that ref as someone who is biased against your team. when it comes to that ref, you would remember the games where he was unfair towards your team, more than the games where that ref was equal. i can remember there have been some pretty unfair decisions against souths by cecchin. i also remember him making some other very significant unfair decisions against other teams too, which weren't even in matches involving souths.
