Cmon murphy?

Bog avg at best with no experience to at least use as an excuse to play him.

And Murphy was QCup player of the year now we have another QCup player with big wraps about him.

The question must be asked though if he is so good why hasn't he cracked 1st grade anywhere by 24 years old? Surely clubs with crap halves would have noticed the next Darren Lockyer before now.

James Maloney was 23 when he made his debut for the Storm, played 4 games that season. Had spent many years previously carving up NSW Cup for North Sydney and then Parramatta. Couldn't get a first grade spot though.

Must mean Flanno isn't the only coach to not play juniors? Or is this kid just not good enough?
Who cares, we got him. Get on board.

I hope he absolutely has a blinder in our colours and takes us a long way. Just hate the NEXT so and so tag that some players get. Remember the next SBW who turned out to be the biggest dud ever.

pretty Impressed with this years signings I think we've strengthened where we needed it and also picked up reasonable talent. the only player guaranteed a first grade spot is Maloney and we could have done way worse than the others we've picked up. it'll be interesting whats gonna happen with our top flight team next year with faa brown coming back from injury too. one or two good players are gunna miss out on being in th seventeen..

what id go with 5 months out..

1. Barba (doing the old switcheroo with holmes every odd set)
2. Holmes
3. Beale
4. Leutele
5. Feki
6. Townsend/Cleeland
7. Maloney
8. Fifita
9. Ennis
10. Gallen (he just needs to be told he gets 25 quality minute bursts)
11. Lewis
12. Graham
13. Bird

14. D.Fifita/Sene lefao (with 80 min backrowers we need a prop with punch)
15. Tagatese
16. Bakuya
17. Brown

a tested first grade winger like Daniel Vidot could be a handy acquisition and that hard running youtube sensation Luke Page is floating around

Good, considering both played out of position. Though both had the ability before entering first grade.I am still waiting for the coaching staff to turn a player into something special. Certainly hasn't happened under Flannos watch.
The recruitment of established first graders is top notch, highlighting the poor ability of the club to really develope juniors into super stars.
Shit post, yeah sure but the reality is besides Gallen, they have developed no high calibre players in the last decade.
If the place is going to get serious about winning a comp then recruitment and development needs to be more ruthless.

What was Andrew Fifita before Flanno got him?

How many grade games did Bukuya have before Flanno got in charge?

Feki is in the NZ squad, no?

C'mon mate, let the agenda go.

But if this bloke is the next Lockyer why would flano need to turn him to something special?
Flano picks two young blokes who have a great season .
Yet it's got nothing to do with his coaching.

So my question is where does Barba fit into this whole equation?

Surely the Rio Olympics is enticing if we can knock on the ARU's door
