im not really a massive fan of other sports but surely no other professional code produces this kind of drama. not nesicarily bad stuff but just completely unheard of hilarity? in the space of 24 hours (keep in mind this is the off season) weve had:

* a high profile internationals 4 year change of club contract revealed by a canadian theatre critic after it was emailed to him by accident because he has a similar name to the manly CEO

* a first graders (ex) girlfriend hacks his twitter account and puts up a photo of him in bed with a naked chick saying he is a low life cheater. apparently this is the only 22 year old in the world who doesnt check his social media every 3 minutes as it stays up there for over an hour attracting every news outlet in the country to write stories on it before its noticed and removed.

you seriously couldnt make this stuff up :lol::lol:

Not code, club.

Tigers are a laughing stock atm, no doubt. But theres loads of other junk i.e dudes pissing in their own mouths etc thats just the code in general. They also had nothing to do with the Taupau incident.

Plus at least we sack guys who bash women, not make them captain.

Might want to check your facts bro

Next time we'll be sure to just suspend them for a week of pre season

Didn't Lui whack his missus twice and they sacked him the second time around?

Apologies to the bloke if I'm wrong.

Charges were dropped first time. When he was charged the next year he was sacked.

Keep trying to divert though.

Seriously - is there a fan of any club who can say their team has never had a player who is a violent grub? This is a moral high ground competition that no one is going to win.

What did the young bloke do, he had a root, he wasn't married to his girlfriend or ex or whatever?

don't generally agree with the magpie but yeah.....don't understand the outrage every time someone is found to have cheated on their partner...surely it is a matter for them to work out no need to get upset on their behalf. And it has zero bearing on their day job which is playing football, they aren't employed to be faithful

I take your point, Magpie, but today there are these concepts called Facebook, twitter, mobile phones with cameras, txt messaging, passwords...etc. We now live in a very different world. What about the person who put that photo out for the whole World to see. It was put out on 'social media' without their permission. Isn't that against the law?

Don't know if it is illegal or not. but if everyone young dude or bird was worried about photos of them doing the deed being posted on social media we would have a shitload of frustrated virgins out there.

He's bloody 21 and scored one and if I read this thread right his ex somehow entered the premises snapped a photo and posted it on twitter or whatever the f**ker is called. So what.

There's this thing called invasion of privacy. Surely that photo is the ultimate invasion of a person's privacy. He appears to be asleep and she's naked. I don't think permission was given. At first I thought it was a set up. Anyway it could be one for the lawyers.
