For what it is worth, we would be way better having Hayne than Wighton and Walker. Hayne makes others better, and is a genuine game winner. Those guys are good first graders who need someone else to make the difference.

Yep throw walker and wighton into our 2009 side and what happens?

close to spoon than 8

Can Pau please provide a semblance of proof for his assertion that we can get Foran PLUS a first grader for what we were paying Hayne?

Sounds like an outrageous lie even by his standards.

to be fair, Wighton was only 16 in 2009 and Walker 14 or 15 tops.... I don't think any side benefits from having such young fella's playing first grade...

Tigers just signed some Josh Aloiai bloke from your mob (in exchange for Matt Woods)
How does he go? I haven't seen him play.

Good young backrower that will likely push for first grade for your mob IF he can stay fit. Has had issues staying on the field in the last 2 years but he has a tremendous motor and plays well on both sides of the ball.

Shame we let him go but backrow is a position we are loaded in so it was his only real option if he wanted to crack first grade.

One's a two time Dally M winner who thinks he's good enough for the NRL. The other isn't.

Why would Foran cost as much as Hayne? Would you offer them the same amount? Do you reckon any club would?

You're keen for others to explain their opinions. Let's see you back yours up. Why would Foran possibly be worth as much as Hayne?

Josh suffered a very serious injury late last season which actually threatened his career and after a third opinion he was told he could resume his football career, great young player but could be a gamble in the long run.

Who does Hayne make better? We missed his playing ability this year but did any of our players look worse with him gone?

If Hayne returned for season 2016 how do you think he would go? Would he need a season to adjust to the game again or change his body which is now suited for NFL?

Hayne made our right side attack better. He use to play on both sides but IMO played more on the right. I honestly believe our whole right side looked shit this year.

Like I said, we missed his playing ability. There's no evidence that we missed his influence on the other players though. Meanwhile Corey Norman grew another head. Or was it his leg?

I'm prepared to go with Rugby League Project data (seeing as though they specialise in all kinds of rugby league stats/facts and figures) over an AFL site that hosts rugby league data.

it was hosted by rleague until it shut down

No I'm keen for you to justify why you present conclusions and assumptions as if they are facts.

We both know the reason is that you are intellectually dishonest and a f**kwit.

I'm not the one claiming that Foran is being paid less than Hayne and by more than enough to fund an additional first grader.

If I was to speculate - I wouldn't present my speculation as an assertion of fact.

But if I did speculate it would seem very likely that Foran will be the eels highest ever paid player, based on media reports that he will be paid more than 1
Million per season.

In addition, there were media reports following the debacle with his contract that suggested any third party aspect of his contract will be denied and the entirety allocated under the salary cap.

Both these factors suggest strongly that in fact Foran will be on more than Hayne was, especially as we had to lire Foran away from another club, and in fact the only one he has played for.

Anyway, my main point is that you are a f**kwit, but I will let you get back to demonstrating that beyond a shadow of doubt as you usually do.
