Latest I have heard is:
- Hiku to Penrith
- Lafai to Titans
- Roberts to Broncos

Parra and St George get no one.

Lafai could become very rich at the Titans. Ironically they'll probably offer Lafai twice as much as they offered Roberts...

I think it's a poor career move for Lafai.

Yep we don't need to pay stupid money for a back, yeah it would be nice to get another quality back but let the desperate sides get into a bidding war. We can just sit back and wait, plus Penrith / Broncos do have some fringe backs which could be looking for better opportunities soon.

Also we do have options, it is quite possible Gutherson could really kick on this year and prove to be the real deal. While Falou has potential and could have a break out year ( yeah I know, may not happen but is possible).

And really don't think Morgan is that terrible, I would rather have him then paying overs to match other clubs to sign Hiku - he aren't worth $500k a year.

You can't have too good of a memory as the Broncos were 2nd or 3rd favourites for 12 months

Back to the original point of the argument on you claiming their is 13 premiership contenders, I don't think there is a team paying more than $11 who is a any chance of winning the comp in 2016.

So now you have gone no team from double figures to no team paying over 11.That squeezes in 2 more teams in Manly and Souths lol...
And your ruling out Penrith-Storm-Sharks-Dogs and most important PARRA.

I will go into this season with some belief we and Penrith can take the title.Maybe even play out the grand final.
I reckon Canberra and saints are vey slim chances but still a chance.
If parra beat Brisbane rnd one there odds will come in from 21-1 into about 16-1....That's how quickly they move.

Id say any team who are 50-1 and over ( 3 teams) have no chance. But hey parra almost did it.

Hope we don't go near Roberts, he would be my third preference after Lafai / Hiku. He has only had 1-2 decent years, yeah he is quick but does have issues and wants money based on his potential not his current form. Could see him being another Barba.

Hiku and Lafai would be nice..... Wouldn't pay overs for them.

Morgans fine.... But Idris may still pop up too ;) He would be the value buy. Cost basically peanuts for the best player of the lot.

He is 22.....How many decent years did you expect hi too have by now?

Lafai and Hiku have had about the same decent years. Neither of them will amount too anything more then very good players. Roberts could be the best centre in game.

My mate at Penrith said Hiku will be announced today!! He will be playing for them.
Gould must rate him higher then I do!

Centres that have become available -
Dylan walker
James Roberts
Hiku
Lafai

That is some real quality. A little ironic if we missed out on any of these :)

I kind of want Morgan to be playing to give everyone on here something to wynge about- Otherwise who will be our scapegoat?

We still look alright next year IMO.

1. Gordon
2. Semi
3. Taka
4. Gutherson
5. Buretta/Schute/Moss/Tuha

The issue is inexperience on the right hand side.

Yeah Morgan in ur starting 17 would be fantastic Hindy, you really are a Penrith fan.

The mighty Duke paying overs for a back when their pack is still shit house.

Potentially we are solid. But Gordon-Taka-Gutherson seem injury prone. If any player goes down we look thin.

Add falou-Moss-French-Fuimanno to list of maybes. I reckon all of them are as good as who you have put at no - 5.

Yes agree, but he wants a lot more then Lafai / Hiku, he has already been sacked by two clubs and now left a third where he was settled. I wouldn't want to risk $500-700k on a player that has as much risk/issue as he has, he could be a superstar but is just as possible to be a train wreck !!! To much risk.

I would actually start with Morgan at centre and Gutherson on the wing. Morgan is better then all those wing options. Also think Foran style will suit Morgan.
