if there's a positive outcome to all this (heaven forbid) it's that we can finally rid ourselves of the cancer of this club and be forced to appoint a professional and capable board to take us forward without the interference of the morons that have ruined our club in the last decade or so..

To be honest I'm not sure but that's the end result that we need. Maybe the NRL screens applicants for the board making sure that they are parra people, credentials and check history that they haven't been involved in any factions.

I would love to have Sterlo as chairman he has the respect of most people. He's a leader I could get behind.

The end goal should be a board independent of factions. The way we get there is up for debate. The way NRL commission was chosen could be away to do it. I'm not sure tbh.

Those supposed sly moves haven't really been helping us on the field the last 6 years, how about some people without agenda's, business acumen and access to TPA's the right way , and an actual love for the club and a willingness to put the club first???

If you had a competent board and management you would not require "sly moves". They would be able to innovate and get sponsorship in the appropriate way.

The way i see it..... We have done some dodgie 3rd party deals. Its time to pay for our crimes and be punished. Cop it on the chin and move on.

I heard the Duke on sterlo show once talk about TPA and how every club takes advantage of it, its just a matter of who does it better then others. And basically who does not get caught.
Our problem is we have disgruntled members or ex members who know to much info and are leaking it to the media. Other clubs do not have the same problem.

The longer this goes on the more of a bad taste it leaves on NRL and the eels. Someone obviously was not happy with the result of us not losing 4 points and has dug up some dirt

You reckon other clubs don't help organise TPA's like we have??? Maybe they just don't leave paper trials :crazy:

Remember with the Foran saga they even admitted the club had even organised 300k of TPA which the NRL made us stick on the cap :crazy::crazy::crazy:

Does anyone at the club have atm have that sort of experience???? I mean i wouldn't trust this board to run a chook raffle let alone a multi million dollar business like the Parramatta Eels.

The current board didn't know jack about running a club. I'm sure that an independent board chosen on merit, experience in the club and business scene would do a better job than the current backyard hillbillies we have now. And they have to be Parra people. As to the ways these independent board people are chosen eg the processes involved getting this happening - I'm not sure.

If we don't move to a new board independent of factions and in fighting we will not survive.
