My dear old dad would of agreed with you, we lost him a few years back. He did see her smash Hay list in they Lightning and did admit it would be much closer then he thought lol.

He reckons he would of led and broke her heart, he reckons he would of been a couple more ahead of her then the likes of Hay List was.

My old man always thought Vain was the best sprinter he'd seen until the mare won at Royal Ascot when crook as a dog, beating a mare that won multiple Gp1's in Europe..

I doubt any horse could've beaten BC over a sprint at Flemington..

Spartacus was a beast of a sprinter..

Dud in the barn though..

Moss Rocket unlucky not to win a Gp1..

Cliffy Bashford's Cangronde was another favourite..

And Blue Boss trained by a young David Hall..

Some good names there,bringing back good memories,always loved Spartacus

Anyone remember Black Bean and Kidman's Cove,Black Bean was a Flemington specialist and Kidman's Cove went on a couple of crazy win streaks,they weren't champions but they were pretty good on there day,always liked those two.

I was at Randwick the day Black Bean won the Galaxy beating Commands..

Good horse..

Kidman's Cove was a bit like Moss Rocket, looked a champ in a Gp2 but couldn't win a big one..

Holler won another grp1 for him last weekend, just like Heath Ledger winning posthumous Oscars

Speaking of good sprinters Holler is out of a Strategic mare, as are French Fern and Le Romain who all won stakes races last week.

I know he has won over 7 furlongs, but that was at Scone, & around a bend..

Yeah i had a sneaky eachway on it as well,didn't really show much but im not expecting anything special from the SYT's as 2 year olds
