Early errors cost us, we handed Penrith too much possession in good position in the first twenty, the defensive effort required to keep them out came back to haunt us with fatigue in the end.

Particularly with the limited interchange, we just have to value the ball more.

Thought we kicked two tackles too early on our last set when we had the lead, and gave the ball to them in better position and with more time on the clock than they deserved. If you're going to kick early in that situation, at least make the ball go into touch within their 20m line.

In te end, the Panthers wanted the two points more than we did - which is pretty silly if we are facing that points deduction this week. Arthur would not be impressed with us letting go of that game, after we'd fought back in the second half to hold a lead.

Attack, defence, ball playing and kicking, Norman played well for most of the game.
Where is the evidence he was playing awful today?

He wasn't awful. Actually did some good stuff. But I also don't think he's played well enough, consistently, to be demanding top dollar. His current rep is from playing great in the nines. That's an indicator of what he's capable of, but he's got to do it in the NRL more often.

Just as well losing 4 points is no big deal.
