I am fired up R20
I'm getting a similar feeling to last year after they beat the cows up their and then I looked at the next few games till the end and just knew by the way they had been going that they were going to get rolled
It's really simple big strong powerful forwards with a powerful bench lays the platform for any decent back line to score points and win games with also solid defence
Rusty wake up we need forwards with heart not just size( apart from Sam who is always tremendous)
They have it in them to dominate teams but just aren't putting it together ATM
What's happened to the Burgess twins?
They seem to have gone backwards literally
Why do such big men stand flat footed instead of hitting the line at speed wtf is that about
Catch the ball flat footed and there's 3 guys driving them backwards within a second
Very basic stuff Madge they are big use it to our advantage

1 Rabbitohs Cook-ed?

There’s more problems brewing at South Sydney, with out of favour hooker Damien Cook believed to be wanting a mid-season release.
Cook joined the Rabbitohs this year after starring for the Bulldogs in the latter stages of last season.
The speedy number nine was expected to take over Issac Luke’s number nine jumper but Cook has lost out to talented youngster Cameron McInnes.
Cook wasn’t included in the 17-man squad to meet the Broncos tonight and has been talking to the Bulldogs about a possible return.
The Dragons are also known to be interested in Cook for 2017.
The Rabbitohs may not allow Cook a release before the June 30 transfer deadline, however.
Coach Michael Maguire wants two top class hookers in his ranks and realises that letting Cook go would leave him skinny on depth in the key hooking spot.
McInnes has been doing the job - but it’s a long season and injury or a change in form could see Cook get his chance.

We cannot let Cook out of his contract. He signed the deal knowing he was behind Cam (at least in Madge's eyes) and now needs to keep at it till he changes Madge's mind. Contracts have to be worth something, if we let him go they are worth less than the paper they're printed on.

Cam's had his moments but he is a bit slow at times, like when he got the ball knocked out of his hands against the Cowboys.

Have you lost the plot???

Cook needs to start at hooker. A one eyed billy could see that.

We should have started with Cook since Round 1. Let's not sugar coat things. Cam doesn't cut the mustard.

When he came on tonight at times when in space he was dancing on the spot. We aren't playing Dancing With The Stars Cam. Fair bloody dinkum. Fug me.

Rabbitohs youngster Hymel Hunt receives distressing news in sheds

11 hours agoby STAFF WRITERSSource: news.com.au
WITH just six minutes gone in the Rabbitohs clash with the Brisbane Broncos, young-gun centre Hymel Hunt was in trouble.

The 22-year-old came to the side of the field clutching his right shoulder after an attempted try-saving tackle. After a quick examination from a Rabbitohs trainer, Hunt was rushed off the field and headed straight up the tunnel.

Initial reports indicated that the centre had subluxed his shoulder — an injury that would usually carry a recovery time of no more than 4-6 weeks.

However when Channel Nine cameras ventured inside the South Sydney dressing room, it quickly became apparent that something far more serious had occurred.

Footage captured Hunt visibly sobbing, before being consoled by a member of the Rabbitohs medical staff.

Brad Fittler later told Channel Nine the youngster had torn a pectoral muscle.

“Hymel Hunt has just gone back into the sheds. Tragic news for the young centre, he’s done a pec, just like John Sutton,” Fittler said.

Absolutely heartbreaking.

The injury is likely to put Hunt out of action for the remainder of the season, putting a massive dampener on what would have been his break-through season with the Redfern-based club.

cook has to play 80 mins the same goes for carter am i right r20?blind freddy knows that...

Yes you are.

Alien can't see it re Cook though. He'd have him on the interchange. I think he's had too much green tea and it's affecting his decision making;-)

Carter will be suspended for tripping.
