Don't know if the offer has been pulled for good. What I was told is that Hayne will be about the same amount under the cap as Norman. The difference is that Hayne has sponsors lining up for TPA's whilst Norman will have barely any if there is a drugs conviction.

Hindsight and all but the speech he gave after we won the nines and he was MVP, I thought it odd. As though he was very uncomfortable with the spotlight. That could be for a number of reasons but some of them aren't good. And the word 'shifty' has occurred to me a couple of times since. He's an interesting character I think, and it'd be great if we could get both he and Hayne.
