Speaking to a bloke at my local other day. Who reckons he is close to BA as he apparently does his lawn and stuff every couple of weeks. Told me he was fed up with the constant dramas and shambles our club has become.

I laughed him off and told him he was talking shit but who knows maybe there is truth and he could be fed up with people running the joint as they have stabbed him in the back a couple by reneging on him twice last year while giving themselves a payrise in the process.

If we lose BA we may as well pack up shop move the club to perth as i doubt the club would recover if he left.

And in saying that i wouldn't blame if he left unlike that wanker named ricky stuart as BA typifies everything i thought about parramatta a working class bloke punching above his weight trying to be best by beating those big dogs in (brisbane, Melbourne, roosters) and become a team us fans can be proud of.

I wouldn't trust anyone who cuts anyone's grass.

I wonder if he spoke to jodeci. Doesn't he do lawns?

First graders (not backups) BA has released mid contract while at parra:
Hayne
Peats
Junior Paulo
Sandow

First graders BA has signed:
Watmough
Foran
Scott
Robinson
Gordon
Jennings

Out of those lists there is probably only 1or 2 good decision on each list.

Did BA sign SoO centre Jennings or is that still a dream?

Instead of just naming names, look at your list with a little bit of a reality check shall we:
First graders (not backups) BA has released mid contract while at parra:

Peats - due to Salary Cap related issues not BA's fault as someone had to go
Junior Paulo - switched off after signing for 2017 with Raiders and do we need the bad attitude (as evident in his post match presser last night)
Sandow - remember his efforts against the Bulldogs? Enough said.

First graders BA has signed:
Watmough - not a great result and was always potentially a high risk signing that eventuated
Foran - apart from his hamstrings which were fixed by round 4 the rest of issues are this years and who would/could of known. Maybe expensive but we needed a leader and a half to bring the club up from the mire we were in.
Scott - good signing, good result
Robinson - stop gap who was needed after we lost Hayne mid-contract in off-season
Gordon - stop gap for one year who has played a role. Is Gordon the reason we have lost our 5 games this year or might there be other factors
Jennings - SoO centre, enough said
Takarangi - done well for us
IDG - stop gap mid season when Peats went down in 2014. Done his role when needed only now getting slower
Champion - round 2 career ending injury makes it hard to judge value of signing
Wicks - solid performer week in week out.

Still, he had a contract for another year. It's more of a comparison of who we released vs who we bring in. And overall the decisions have been very poor.

Well, despite all of his crap signings, he has assembled as squad that is presently sitting in equal third in the competition. Given the all the background noise that goes on at this club, that doesn't seem to be too bad an effort to me.

Not really sure why people are turning on BA. If the club were to get rid of him that would just about do me.

It was only a matter of time........it blows my mind. I'm a dickhead a lot (a lot people put me to shame on here though in comparison) but BA has been tremendous this year especially and if the cheating scum bags above him hadn't f**ked us so bad we'd be easily playing finals football this year, even without Foran for the rest of the year.

Agreed, he is about the only person in the Eels organisation that can hold his head up high this season.

It boggles my mind how BA hasn't already had his contract extended and upgraded. If we lose him that will just about finish me.

Was the second knot (sic) a typo or does the double negative mean you understand why people are turning on BA? In which case your second sentence is somewhat contradictory to your first.

But I am glad the quality of your posts has remained the same since your first one

That's exactly right, the bloke is holding this broken piece together virtually on his own after having to put up with the worst set of directors and administrators this club has ever had during it's existence ..

I'd say the quality of this year's squad proves he makes good decisions. The loss of points ending our season led to a fire sale, with a focus on the future, and I'm confident he will continue to make good decisions.

How do you know he's not getting better offers elsewhere? Would you re-sign with a club that has a media circus as every merkin tries to overthrow the board every couple of years? It's not going to end mate. The same people who voted for the last three boards are all still voting members of the leagues club. Why would you think anything is going to change? Just because the chairman is gone everything will be roses now? That's what they said after the last chairman was arseholed. And the one before that.

So you think Arthur should be confident that our club will be stable going forward? That quality people will put themselves forward and the members will vote for them? Do our members even know what a quality candidate looks like?

Pou, like Avenger states , you really like to come on and put forward your contrary statements to evey opinion on here

It exhausts me and I dont know how you can keep going

Rather than praise BA you come on With a negative stance , probably looking for an argument

The coach has just bought a holiday home on the Central coast, his eldest boy has just started at Patrician bros, both boys play locally, and he wants to bring the club through all this.

Please carry on, you are indefatigable
