The refs were appalling to us in around 10.

Souths have gone back to what Souths have done best over the last 20-30 years........living on past glories.

It's pretty hard to top the Knights for woefulness, but Souths have been awful since mid to end 2015 when the club was getting spanked by cricket scores each week and in the elimination final.

Madge will forever be a legend for helping the club win it's first premiership in 40-odd years, but the team's performances over the last 12 months cannot be tolerated much longer. If this club has really changed, it would not be so accepting of mediocrity. I'm not saying the club should make rash decisions each time there's some hard times, but this has gone on long enough with no improvement in sight, just rehashed platitudes.

That is correct. I think they are virtually signing Madge's death warrant by doing that. I personally think you either need to back him 100% or get rid of him completely.

With Sths really having problems attracting quality recruits I fear we are in for further heartache, with Madge, who seems to be bereft of ideas when the going gets tough!!

Any coach needs enough good players. The main problem is there are not enough big forwards in the squad, which is what I said at the start of the season. We may need a better dummy half too. Madge's style needs plenty of big forwards in the squad, and a dummy half who can take advantage of the momentum that those forwards create.
