Now that the serious side of the season is over & the team is now playing in DEAD RUBBERS some players will start to look better than they really are--COOK is one of these.

Madge wouldn't have a serious bar of him for the bulk of the season so now he's giving him a run to throw caution to the wind when it doesn't matter one iota!!!

I'd say Mcinnes has more options, other clubs are interested in him. He knows that if souths sign farah it's not to play farah in reserve grade. Cook doesn't have the options that mcinnes has, so of course he'd say he'll stay and fight. Cook has been a fringe first grader for years, he is used to playing 2nd fiddle. Mcinnes is a young bloke who wants to play first grade, if he see's his path blocked at Souths he'll go somewhere he can secure a first grade spot while his still young.

I'm interested as to what exactly is "our style of play"?

Every team likes to roll forward, get quick play the balls to make good yardage, or get a repeat set via a penalty.

I've also been amused all year by the comments by various people that "madge has no Plan B ".

Our poor performance this year has been due to poor handling, poor discipline (penalties), missed tackles and injuries not because of any game plan by the Coach or our "style" of play.

The last 2 weeks we proved if we get these areas right, we can win games and I think that can happen whether we have cook,McInnes or Farrah in the 9.

We need a hooker who passes the ball quickly and gives direction. Plus willing to run out of dummy half.

Cam is neither of these things.

Cam aka McTurtle is not up to it.

It's funny that people who were critical of souths signing 'duds' from super league or nsw/cup desperately want Vaughan, Femson and Farah, all who are currently nsw cup players

Well theres a match report for robbie farah playing in the nsw cup from last week. That literally makes him a nsw cup player.
If you read the social media about fensom you'll see many raiders fans have mixed feelings. He's an honest toiler, a work horse in defence but the word most used to decribe his running game is plod. We already have a number of players like this in the squad.
Vaughan is probably the only one of the 3 worth signing. He is still young and has the potential, but he has been poor this year as shown by his demotion to reserve grade while the raiders are flying.
As for people being desperate to sign them, I'll just assume you have r20 on ignore.
