I would dare say that any decision they make would have the best interests of the player/client as a distant last.

I actually think the low life manager of the Snore 4 has probably cost all 4 of them significant $$$$ all the while dragging their reputations through the mud. Reportedly all the 4 have had more generous offers on the table for over 6 months, the offer from the Tigers have been more than other clubs were prepared to shell out so the manager has played a game, dragging it out and feeding the pliant media with overhyped rubbish stories trying to pump it up. Tigers have turned around and adjusted all the offers downwards in either $$ terms or duration (except for Teddy).
As a result, it seems that all 4 will be worse off than they would have been if they had signed a month ( or six months ago) and all but Brooks have also had almost every drop of fan goodwill squeezed out. Who wins? Isaac Moses still gets his cut.
I actually feel sorry for Brooks out of this. He has signed for $50K less than he is getting this year and only for 2 years instead of the 3 offered. Yes it is still probably more than he is worth on performance to date but supposedly he was also wanting to sign 6 months ago but was told to wait as part of the "Big 4" strategy. Bit him on the arse. I'm glad he signed and have a bit more respect for him out of this fiasco. By all reports he is a good, shy humble kid. I hope that Ivan Cleary can get him to kick on and be a great half.
