Reported Tigers are very close to signing Packer

Jeez looks like we'll have quite the side next year

That's a welcoming relief

tigpies to sign corey thompson lol

at least they're signing "players"

He'll be depth at best

Offloaded Moses, Tedesco, woods and Ava

Looks almost to be confirmed

Renoylds, Matulino, Packer, Milne, McQueen, Lolohea, MWZ and still in talks with Ferguson

Who got the better deal?

stop counting your chickens before they hatch...you are absolutely kidding yourself if you think the ins are somehow superior to the outs....even if you do get the names missing.

You're taking the piss

The only loss is Tedesco

We were about to spend 3.5mil on the small 3

Instead we've put that money to good use and signed about 7-10 decent 1st graders with a couple depth chucked in there

Let the hate continue LOL

it depends really.

Getting new blood in is vitally important for the tigers. Also they should still have cash for the end of next season which is a bit worrying for me because we have a lot of blokes coming off contract then.

I dont think the tigers are in too bad a position. It might take them a couple of seasons to get out of their funk but hey we have all been there. Even the Broncos missed the finals once

Something we've never had before. We've always relied on upcoming juniors and "potential"

Now we've got a few experienced heads on board

We aren't even that bad of a side atm, but I can see us being pretty competitive as soon as next year if all goes to plan

If Matulino stays fit then he is a better prop than Woods every day of the week. From what I hear, the knee issue he had that kept him out for longer was an infection and nothing at all to do with structural damage. Great trade.

Reynolds is a trade up from Moses.

Of course Tedesco is a loss, no denying that.

Overall, I think the Tigers come out of this whole situation better off.

Yeah I agree.

Tedesco is a huge loss but after we lost Milford we were in the same boat where the club had a little tantrum and decided to stop worrying about juniors. It took us realistically from 2014 to 2016 to rebuild after Stuart put the broom through the place and we unfortunately lost Milford.

Canberra are a good example of no player is bigger than the club, Carney, Dugan, Ferguson, Milford and some more good ones have all been allowed to walk in recent times. The club are in pretty good shape without all those big names

The tiges just need players who will put in on and off the field and it will be an upgrade on the 2/3 that they've lost.

If these new players don't white ant the coach and board, then that will also be an upgrade......

If the new captain keeps his mug off NRL 360, it's an upgrade.

And Canberra are so much better off. Tbh I think apart from 2015 Milford hasn't lit the world on fire. I tend to feel teddy won't be as good for Roosters as we think he will be, similarly to Milford with Brisbane

If he stayed at the tigs he would've been a club legend

Tigers need to introduce a whole new culture and you can not do that without introducing a lot of new faces to the roster. They still may struggle for a year or two but long term it will be a better place and they could not have done it if the 3 egos had re signed

Pre 2k14, I would agree on Matulino. Love the bloke but there's a few reasons he was coming off the bench a fair bit.

As for LoLo, unless the Warriors like to bring the lols, we prefer to send him with a rather large bucket and borrow a lions heart for when a bomb goes up. I think he's a centre personally.
