He got dicked around by Josh Morris the whole first half. Every single half break they made was through Mann missing the one on one tackle.
Come on guys, the whole team was flat today. Forwards had no punch at all. I wouldn't be pointing the finger at one or two players. Barring Frizell the whole team was poor.

Things we didn't do well today.

1. We didn't chase their kickers. They had all the time they wanted to place the kick.
2. No Blockers for our kickers.
3. Lots of one out running, we partly went back the last years style where everyone was getting ready for the next play, rather than supporting the ball carrier.
4. Patience they have the skill trust it. and play through the centre until you are making inroads.
5. Kicking was ordinary.

Things we did well.
1. We made lots of room through their middle. we didn't take advance of it.
2. Tackled relatively well and stayed in the games even we we got penalised.
3. Somewhat kept our cool and the refs calls went against us.

I'm not too worried. Think this will out the wind up us for next week!

1. Of what we did well is where I got frustrated. There was obviously massive opportunities to turn the ball back on the inside. Their big slow forwards would've folded like a house of cards if we played the same style today as we did against the warriors.. straight through the middle!

Thought Sims and LAM had a goo game. People seem to miss that we made lots of yeards through the middle.
I don't think that we made our normal yardage up the middle. This made it difficult for the backs to do their thing. The boys just didn't look enthusiastic today. In saying that they made a lot of tackles in the first 20mins

Good re-signing, the kid has serious confidence issues on the field. Needs to get his mental aspect of the game sorted.

That was exactly what was happening. Then Milne came on and played worse.

I Iike Mann but I'd put a line through him as centre. His defence isnt up to it, he's a shirt grabber and positions himself poorly in defence. I'd also put a line through Milne, he's not that good, there's no point playing him there given he's resigned elsewhere. I'd play Duges there until Aitken is back from injury.
Yes definitely, Dugan refuses to attack the ball, and catch it on the full.,Time& time again he waited for the ball to bounce. I think a move to centre is on the cards.Nighty to fullback,Man on the wing.

That's what I thought. I thought we beat them up the middle. We did the hard yards for 50 minutes and then got frustrated and through it away. Our forwards were ok. Packer and Vaughan were a little quieter than usual but not bad. Sele had a poor game. The others were
reasonably good.

Our backs struggled - Widdop was off tonight, Mann was shirt grabbing in the centres and Milne was really silly. Lafai was pushing too many silly passes. Mccrone and MacDonald were ok. Nightingale and Dugan were good.

Off night tonight. Nothing to panic about, a couple of tweaks and we'll bounce back.

Yeah, I'd go with that. Other option would be Mann to bench and Dufty fullback.

Mann on the wing last year worked well for us, Nene needs to be dropped and replaced with Mann

Aitken is our best right centre.

Daylight second.

Of course the forum see's it differently.

Mann and Milne exposed today.

Mann and Milne were very poor. I thought having the Morris twins line up against us was dangerous. We need Aitken back, even though he can be a defensive liability, he can create something out of nothing.

I thought Mann missed a lot of tackles in the first half so I checked the NRL site for stats. He missed 6 tackles in the match. Most, if not all, all of those must have been in the first half because he didn't get much game time at all in the 2nd half.
