Tyrone Roberts could be set to join the Brisbane Broncos in 2018. With Ben Hunt & Benji Marshall both leaving, a utility position has opened up. James Roberts is Tyrone's cousin.

This rumor is an odd one.

Kaylin Ponga is frustrated in reserve grade at the Cowboys. Rugby union has had enquires about potentially poaching him. But Ponga has signed a deal with the Knights, so I don't see rugby has a case unless Knights mutually agree to release Ponga which isn't going to happen.

Yeah I know it doesn't make much sense.

Why's this kid been in reserves for most of the season? Just punishment for joining the knights?

Because while he has a nice highlights reel scoring stacks of try's in the lower grades, the kid can't defend to save his life and too often tries the flashy stuff instead of the team-play we need at times.

It will come with time if he doesn't let all the hype go to his head.

What the hell? Lay off the crack pipe mate, who said anything about QLD spirit and what would it have to do with anything I said about Ponga anyway??

The kid is a talent, no doubt, but he's a long way from being a reliable defender. I'd take Bowen over him every day of the week.
