Panthers captain Matt Moylan will be sidelined for at least the next two weeks after suffering a hamstring strain in the win against Canberra Raiders.

The minor strain is a new injury and not a recurrence of Moylan's previous hamstring issue this season.

Panthers coach Anthony Griffin has named Tyrone May at five-eighth in his side to face St George-Illawarra Dragons on Sunday.

He had some bad luck with his hammies lately. I am not worried with May there.

Saints will play this game straight up the middle. They will try and bulldoze their way to victory.
I expect them to come out fast and physical. If we can last the first 20 minutes I think we win.

May isn't as creative but I think he's a better defender than Moylan which will hurt the Dragons right side attack. Really wish Moylan/Cleary would get some game time though. Guess they'll be next years halves.

Panthers will celebrate Old Boys Day at the club’s final home game against St George-Illawarra Dragons on Sunday 27th August. All former Panthers first-grade players are invited to join in the festivities.

Panthers is proud of its history and constantly strives to recognise all those who played a part in forging the club’s identity and legacy. Old Boys Day provides ex-players the opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and come together as a Panthers family, while watching the current generation carry the club forward on the field.

Former Panthers will be given a guided tour of the Panthers Rugby League Academy, followed by a fully-catered luncheon inside Panthers Penrith Leagues Club and a lap of honour at the NRL clash between the Panthers and Dragons at Pepper Stadium.

Any former players who have not received information on Old Boys Day are encouraged to contact Brad Waugh on 0435 147 273 or at explayers@panthers.com.au.

I love it when its 'Old Boys Day'. Not just to see some of the former players but we usually grow another leg out on the field.
Come on lets pack the place and bring home a win.

We no chance of beating Melbourne without a firing Moylan.

Should still beat Merge 13+
Dunno why anyone thinks this will be an easy win.

We are in better form. But we havent smashed a team in a while and Dragons season is on the line. They will put up a fight and while their attack isnt great. They are still a tough team.

I think it will be a close game.
