French = Fullback
Hayne = Centres

Arfurs might mix it up a bit week to week and even during games but that's where I reckon both merkins will spend the majority of their time.

If that's the case (and Jennings is our other centre) where does Gutherson play? The only way to accomodate all of them is Gutho fullback, French wing.

Right now, Gutherson is injured and unable to play first grade.

I'll reassess my position if/when he becomes available.

Yes, that's a possibility, of course. Or Hayne fullback, Gutho at centre and French wing. An intriguing puzzle.They might all get a go at fullback by season's end.
That's my preferred combination. But for it to come about, or for all three to get a go, it no doubt means losing a bit more than we'd like.

I reckon when the 3 of them are fit the strongest lineup is:

FB - Hayne
Centre - Gutho (his one on one defence is perfect at right centre, the hardest position to defend at)
Wing - French

I reckon left centre is harder if your a strongly right-handed (right-sided). You have less power if the get outside you.

Bevan still has a lot to prove at fullback but he hasnt had many games there and 2016 was injuriy disrupted. Sure Guthersons form at back was great but he also had Moses in a lot of games .
My reason fpr Guth at back is more to do with I think its his best spot and wasted anywhere else. I am not convimced he is a centre. I reckon lacks the foot worl and explosiveness.

And having Guth in the centres negates probably his biggest weapon. His work rate.

Personally I like French at FB and no doubt he will start there. BA seems to want Hayne in the centre atm.

As to whether Bevo stays at FB may depend on his defence in the fist 3 rounds till Guth is back, then we'll see where BA wants to play him. If Bevo f**ks up defensively. he goes to the wing, if he can defend OK, I think he will stay there with Hayne to the wing.

Given that that may be the numbers on their back the 3 of them will pop up allover the field. We had Guth playing well out of dummy half when he played in the centres and Semi playing up the middle last year at times so the numbers on their back dont mean a great deal nowdays. It will just be great to have the 3 of them some where in the backline.

Im having serious anxiety about forwards chosen for round 1. How the f**k do we leave someone out?!!!

This is my forward pack assuming Taka is going to be put into the 17.

8. Mannah
9. King
10. Evans
11. Mau
12. Taka
13. Brown
14. Scott
15. Edwards
16.Alvaro
17. Moeroa

I cannot see a spot for Terepo or Matagi.

I am stressing about it I have no idea how Taka fits. I hope he is a revelation as I would feel much better in having Tepai in starting 13 or KE and bringing Terepo or Matagi onto the bench. I just cannot see how he fits.

And this is ALL assuming Will Smith doesn't take a spot which plenty of people smarter than me are suggesting he will. Who the f**k gets dropped then?
