They should have postponed the game. Our players could take a fortnight to recover. It is not acceptable.

I actually said the exact same thing on another forum.
No excuses as Manly are thrashing us.
But, player welfare should be considered in these conditions.
You are right. Someone will die one day, all because Fox won't consider rescheduling a game.
The conditions are atrocious, and they are the same for both teams. It could be a Manly player that suffers. It shouldn't make any difference that we are losing.

I won’t give up on this mob. Terrible start to to the year but we are still a decent side. We had to tackle for 15 minutes straight in near 40degree heat. The 40/20 killed us. That was it after that. We were gone.

Real test of BA’s mettle here...
all offseason he and the team have talked up our squad depth and how everyone needs to perform to stay in the team as there are capable players waiting in the wings.

Short of a 1000% improvement in the second half, there’s at least 6 players on the field today that shouldn’t be near the team next week

We put ourselves in this mess from the get go, no one else to blame.

But our effort and care in defence is severely f**king alarming, nothing shits me more and its always a good way to judge a teams attitude and right now we look horrid. Major concerns.

Round 2 or round 22 this is poor.
Offloads killing us yet we have no intention to offload ourselves which allows gang tackles on us. Team attack has generally improved throughout the competition. Ours looks old fashioned.
Sadly we have some huge issues when you consider the 2nd grade result as well.

The Knights exposed us in that embarrassing loss last year by offloading offloading offloading.... Manly have done the same today... Sharks will be throwing offloads galore at training this week getting ready for Saturday night...
