Oh yeah, there is still absolutely terrible calls being made ... but i am not against the refs blowing penalties for everything that is a penalty

No I agree. I'm half cut so I make even less sense than normal is all.

My point is more, if there are 33 genuine penalties, why were there not more players in the bin?

If sides are pushing the envelope to that extent, almost a penalty every two minutes, then why are only two blokes in the bin?

If you want to make a real stand about it, putting four blokes in the bin will do it. Blowing 20+ penalties every game just makes for shit games that sides win on penalty goals and won't bother to change anything.

33 penalties is atrocious. Either put the whistle away or get serious.

Its true ... the storm couldnt hack getting what they actually deserve ... they have gotten away with so much for so long

I reckon if teams dont learn then binning is definitely the next step ... but its an obvious shift to peanlise and maybe teams need a few weeks to adjust ... then bin all the f**kers if they persist

I dunno, I reckon you do it from the start. You might wreck a few games in the first two rounds, but a side that loses three players to the bin will learn quick.

This way they've helped wreck almost a month of footy, then a crackdown if it comes blows up round five and six before anyone adjusts.

That being said the footy has been shithouse even without the penalties.
