Why was 2014 so great

Because everyone hated Soward and he helped us reach top 5 pissing lots of peoplr off along the way.

But the true reason it was special is our depleted side digging deep and beating the minir premiers in week 1 of finals. It required a bit if skill, luck and class but was largely due to how hard we fought.

We would have most likely been in a grand final at full strength. Not sure we could have matched the Bunnies. But it feels like such a waste to get that far and not have a full strength team to be a realistic chance.

So long as we have our top 17 fit for finals this year we could go one further. Or our current 17 plus Blake and Cleary atleast. Need that bit of extra strike in the backs and another playmaker for Maloney. We can beat the lower sides with what we have. But the better teams we need all hands on deck.
