Good try Ant but unfortunately no

some clues

I am deceased
The unique feat was done in Australia
I am not Australian
I was the first one to do this feat for my country, since then 4 of my country men have done this feat (one of them multiple times)
I have taken 10 wickets in a FC match 3 times
I am a top order batsman though I batted once at no 7 and 4 times at no 6

More clues?

The most recent Australian to do this feat is David Warner
Only one NZ batsman has been able to do this over the last 25 years
The most recent South African to do it, was non other than the great man Jaques Kallis.

Sachin Tendulkar has never been able to do this
But Ricky Ponting and Brian Lara were able to

Looks good, but could be only player to score twin hundreds in a test and the team still lose by an innings.

[edit] Well it won't be that because it had happened to at least Walcott as well.

A pretty easy one but here we go: A player will join an exclusive club in the upcoming Ireland v Pakistan test.

Who and what have they done?

XI Irish cricketers will join the exclusive club of test cricketers?

I need a bit more info - if Parra gets it from here I am impressed.

At best I guess its a Pakistanian playing a certain number of tests BUT are teams even announced yet?

Ahh yes

He played a test in Australia, an ashes test

hence the exclusive club is he has played test cricket for two nations

There have only been two Australians who've played test cricket alongside Greg Chappell, Rod Marsh, Dennis Lillee and Shane Warne.

One of them is Allan Border. Who's the other?

The great Mike Whitney?

Very, VERY close.

Whits did play alongside Marsh and Lillee when he debuted in the 1981 Ashes, as well as 3 tests with Warne in 1992.

Unfortunately, Greg Chappell missed that 1981 tour as this was when he scaled back his cricketing commitments post-World Series and predominantly only played at home

Greg Matthews.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner.

An unlikely candidate, Mo Matthews was. His first 2 tests were Marsh/Lillee/G Chappell's final 2.

His career did span over nearly 10 years, but only played 33 tests - a fraction of Border's 156
