Please,no Penrith players in 2019. We've got bigger fish to fry than this three ringed Circus.

But with Brandy and Freddy at the helm,we could see as many as 8.RGC,Mansour (doubtful,prob injured again),Maloney,Cleary,Yeo,Blake,Merrin and Moses Leota on the bench.

Surely leota and yeo are a joke? Is peachey going elsewhere?

Roberts put in effort wise but his one decent asset, speed, is always going to be negated when he comes up against a decent defence.

Unfortunately Roberts was up against the best defensive centre in the game last night.
We should take that into consideration before dropping him.

Wouldn't change much from this year and most of the guys are only young and will get better as time goes on. Would like to see Aitken get in ahead of Roberts.

That's right. Select the blokes who are playing well.

As we've seen with NSW, players can fall off a cliff from season to season, but I think Freddy and co have done a great job at identifying stayers for the most part

Yeo is no joke. An backrower who can also cover the centres would sit well on the bench in Crichton's place. Leota has a way to go, having only just secured a place in the 17 this season. Peachey is off to the Titans, possibly via reserve grade.

Turbo really won me over this series. It's hard I like a merkin from manly, but his defensive effort in the last 10 minutes of game 2 and his hard work in game 3 was very enjoyable to watch.

Hope he is in form and in blue for many years to come.

Tom was brilliant this series and will only get better. Really liked how he always came off his wing and threatened down the middle constantly.

Maloney is getting on and his defence is only going to get worse. Cody Walker @ 6 going forward. Also if things start to go shit I would like to see Brooks in for Cleary. People might question his club form but his game is well suited to Origin.

Maloney would get picked again next year if he still wants to play, he is pretty much the reason the Panthers are any good this year and he is a big game player. Only guy in trouble is Jimmy. Too many good outside backs around.

Barring a dramatic fall away in form or injury, Maloney will be there again in 2019. yes the guy misses tackles but he is still the best five eight NSW have to choose from. For someone to dislodge him they are going to have to show superior form as Maloney has runs on the board where they count in big games (i.e. Origin and Finals). Also he is a top notch goal kicker.

Of the outside backs you'd think James Tedesco, Tom Trbojevic, Latrell Mitchel and Josh Addo-Carr will hold their spots. They played very well. The one under the pump is James Roberts as he didn't do much in any of the origin games, and frankly I didn't think he was that great for the Broncos in 2018 either.

I doubt the forwards will change much either. The starting 6 were pretty good. The problem was in game 3 not going into the game with enough specialist front rowers. You can't go into a game with none like NSW did in Origin 3, you need at least one with two being more ideal in my opinion.

As to the utility bench spot, Peachey was garbage. He crabbed cross field and kept the ball away from out best attacking weapons and our halves late in the second half of game three. Surely there are better options out there.

Keary is a specialist five eight. As such I don't know what the point wold be in selecting him as a "bench utility" to be honest. Walker can cover the centres or five eight so he has a bit more utility value at least.

Peachey is massively over rated for mine.

Been good for us since Origin. He can cover fullback, centre, 5/8, back row or hooker at a pinch. There isn't another utility in the game who can cover so many positions. Going to the Titans mightn't help him, though.
