Broncos again looking very strong. You'd have to think they'd be hard to beat at this point. Shame this game is being played in such an awkward timeslot. Viewership will definitely suffer as a result.

Still don't like the gameday threads being in this section. It has doomed any discussion about the women's game. At least if it got a game day thread on the main forum you might get some traffic.

Oh well what kind of a competition is it when the Clubs that where leaders in promoting the the women's game weren't included (Souths and Cronulla)

Same comp where Souths and Cronulla did no more in promoting the womens game than most other districts. Its a myth. Both had junior clubs that did al lthe work and had teams just like Penrith, St george , Newcastle etc etc.

the one district that did so much was Illawarra

A myth really most of the Cronulla girls went to play for the St George and the Roosters...

Back to the point of the thread.
Roosters were much better I thought their forwards matched it with the Broncos but could not get their backs into the game is a poorer structure.

May have been a different game had the Roosters scored the 2 that were not tries

they were Cronulla Carringbah girls (not Cronulla Sharks), and the Roosters also have Bulldogs, Mounties, Cabramatta, Penrith Brothers, RU, Queenllanders and Souths (but really Redfern Allblacks)

Just because a Cronulla junior club (Cronulla Carringbah) have a team and the Sharks run a Tarsha Gale side does not automatically mean they have done alot for Womens RL nor does it mean thay haven't done anything.but that doesn't mean they deserve anything more than anyone else

Illawarra run a whole competition over many age groups within their own district
