Yeah I’d say he’d have a weapon but now it’s apparently bite marks..

20 years....they only get 7 for murder these days
It’s NSW public policy to increase sentences for sex offences.

Sex offence sentences always increase, whereas murder (and similar offences) sentences have fluctuated since 1900 in NSW

Holy shit, Hillsong's teachings must have changed.

Jarryd Hayne allegedly bit woman on the genitals, before taxi back to Sydney

New details continue to emerge over an alleged sexual assault committed by NRL player Jarryd Hayne, including that he bit the female victim on her genital area, causing severe bleeding that required her to seek medical attention.

It can also be revealed that - in the early hours of the morning, after the alleged incident in the Hunter region - Hayne was back in Sydney's western suburbs drinking with another NRL player.

The revelations come two days after Hayne handed himself in to police, who charged him with aggravated sexual assault.

Police will allege the former Parramatta Eels fullback was intoxicated when he went to the housenorth of Newcastle, which the woman shared with her mother, on the Sunday night of the NRL grand final. The woman's mother was at home at the time of the alleged incident.

Hayne was allegedly drinking in the Newcastle or Central Coast area before he travelled in a taxi to visit the woman with whom he had been communicating on a social messenger app.

Once there, it is alleged he asked the taxi to wait about 20 minutes.

Police allege he sexually assaulted the woman, ripping off her clothes and biting her on her genitals, drawing blood.

It is believed that Hayne then travelled in the same taxi back to Sydney.

The Herald understands the woman suffered severe injuries from the bite wound and sought medical treatment the following day.

The Herald also understands Hayne was then seen drinking with another NRL player at the Merrylands Bowling Club, about 3am on Monday.

Accompanied by his manager Wayne Beavis, Hayne attended Ryde police station on Monday night. He spent 10 hours there before he was granted conditional bail.

He is bound by a number of strict bail conditions, including reporting to police three times a week, surrendering his passport and posting a $20,000 surety.

A police source said Hayne was yet to make any comment or statement on the record to police, and has so far "declined to be interviewed".
