Same process as last season.

Who better to ask where a certain team will finish than the fans of the team themselves!

With their strongest line up where would you have them finishing?

1. Clinton Gutherson
2. George Jennings
3. Michael Jennings
4. Brad Takairangi
5. Blake Ferguson
6. Corey Norman
7. Mitchell Moses
8. Daniel Alvaro
9. Kaysa Pritchard
10. Junior Paulo
11. Manu Ma'u
12. Shaun Lane
13. Nathan Brown

Peni Terepo
Tim Mannah
Tepai Moeroa
Kane Evans

Are we basing our decisions on your opinion of the top 17 or our own opinion of the top 17?

That's my top 17 but poll is based upon the strongest line-up. Interested to hear what changes you wake to the 17 as well.

In that case

2. George Jennings
3. Jaeman Salmon
4. Michael Jennings
5. Blake Ferguson
6. Dylan Brown
7. Mitchell Moses
8. Daniel Alvaro
9. Reed Mahoney
10. Peni Terepo
11. Shaun Lane
12. Tepai Moeroa
13. Nathan Brown
14. Tim Mannah
15. Junior Paulo
16. Manu Ma'u
17. Marata Niukore

Agree with Mahoney over Pritchard.

Don't know much about Salmon but thought he was a half. Also haven't seen any of Dylan Brown so can't comment on those two.

Manu Ma'u in my eyes the Eels best player last season so surprised you have him on the bench.

Based on your 17 where do they finish?

Outside the 8. Probably not quite the rabble of this year but I don't see any Radradras in that side.

That could be a good thing. Instead of relying on a superstar to pull us out of the shit we can rely more on playing a team game.

My side also.
Id consider French over GJ. Just to give us some speed. And Kafusi for some size but unsure at whose expense?

That's a decent side, though I still think Gutho is a centre.

Salmon's played in the halves since he was 18 I'm gonna say, before that he was a centre/second-rower and the way he plays I believe centre should be his main position with him being able to fill in the halves if need be. Dylan Brown is imo a better half prospect than Salmon. He's very level-headed, really good in defence, and tough. So he may not pull out any fantastic plays in his debut year, he has the skills a secondary half needs.

Manu was injured too early and wasn't his usual self at the start of the season, it wasn't until he played a few minutes in the middle did we see the aggressive running come back.

Hard to say, there's so many factors into where a team finishes in a given season. If there's no injuries, team functions as a team, the refs don't officiate us out of games, penalty goals aren't the go to penalty option, then I'd say we can be top 6. So I'm gonna say 6-10.

That was a last minute change really. I've gone with Junior on the bench for a bit of size and I think we can get a longer stint out of him if we bring him on about the 25th minute. Then again Junior's impact depends largely on how much ball we have when he's on.
