Fair point but it doesn’t change the fact it was another of many shit kicks

No it doesn't, but the point is that the kick played as much of a role in the try as the bloke refusing to catch it for some reason.

Bad kicks happen. I'd be more upset at someone deciding not to catch the kick when he has a golden chance

What, another poor ref decision?
Changed your tune?
When did I say the refs were going good??

Find that post??

The refs had nothing to do with the pathetic effort put in from the players straight from the first set. Smashed in the collisions, non existent marker defence and just outright dumb play and poor tactics.

The positive out of today is that it should switch us on for the saints, which I’d rather win

This game makes me nervous. I remember the game a few years back where we needed to beat the last place Knights to make the finals and we really sucked and it was season over.
Again the Knights are on the bottom, desparate to get their season on track we'll be coming down off the high of last week.

Blame the kick as much as you like but Tepai watched it hit his chest, made no effort to catch it, and then it bounced 25m back to the knights.

If he catches it, even if he gets tackled, it's a turnover 35m out from their line.

Little things.

What quality half back does a mid field bombing making 25 or so metres when chasing points. You kick deep to the corner, defend hard and hope for an error

Today was very much a tale of one team needing to win ridiculously more than their opponents, and both teams, for most of the match, playing according to that scenario.

A game that was fairly predictable in hindsight.

Move on to next week.

Na not soft, this is a different side from last year. At 20 nil last year we wouId never fight back.

That try? That is the problem with this club, we allow way too many like that. There is rarely the desperation in that situation like good teams.

We always talk about consistency and that shouldn't just be spoken about in positive terms. We are consistently losing games like this in the same way every single year.

We just don't switch on when we need to, sure we got back into the game, sort of but we are playing the team that has been the WORST team all year, and they were up 20-0.

That is consistently shit in my eyes.......the club accepts mediocrity imo and has since the 90's.

Um, all of them?

Welcome to NRL in the 2010s.

Tepai should have just caught it, simple. It hit him on the chest! Those little things that just need to be done as a basic part of the game will hurt you if you don't do them.
