If it's got a screen and internet you can watch Kayo on it pretty much.
Smart tv Ap available yet?
Chromecast?
Or do you need to HDMI from laptop to tv.

I’m watching Foxtel thru Chromecast and it is shit.
Yet YouTube thru Chromecast is HD perfect

* update
I just checked their website
All good

I watch it on tv through my Apple TV. But can watch it on iPad and phone etc as well.

Needs a smart tv ap
Netflix and Stan work unreal
Just get the card from woolies and off you go.
Stuffing around with hdmi and Apple TV is not that big a deal but aps are the way to go ( for tv viewing)

I disagree smart TVs are hopeless in my experience. I pretty much use the Apple TV exclusively.

Of course. Anyone so inclined to outrage that they'd ditch an entire sport due to the alleged misbehaviour of a few players would've had so much other shit to tweet their disgust about between January and April they've probably lost track of it all. Or once it shifted out of the news cycle they were no longer being hand-fed an opinion on the matter.

There is always something going on in footy but when they take the field all gets forgotten

Pretty sure Kayo has an Android tv app.

I have mine hard wired straight into my nbn modem.
Netflix is HD and awesome.
SBS is awesome

It’s the apps themselves I find crap. It’s not like the TVs I have are old either. I just find the Android TV interface to be slow and laggy. Each to their own I guess.

I’m not sure what you mean by android ap
I’ve checked my Samsung for a Kayo ap and there isn’t one.
Done all the smart hub updates
Is there some other one that it’ll work with?

I just chrome cast from my phone or laptop. An app on the TV would be marginally easier but I have no issue with my current setup.

I Chromecast Foxtel from laptop and it’s pretty average.
Picture quality ranges from great to absolute rubbish burry.
It’s only going about 1 metre too.
I’m using that extra Foxtel website account login thing that you get with Foxtel subscription.
( obviously not my subscription :metal: )

YouTube Chromecast is unreal though.

I just got Foxtel to watch GoT and the quality is rubbish. No such drama streaming Kayo. The quality occasionally dips when the network lags but it's not significant (obviously depends on your connection) and kind of expected with live TV as it can't buffer like it can for recorded content.

For reference, I'm streaming on a 55" TV and quality from Kayo is excellent.

Sorry for all this off topic stuff
Chromecast ultra ?
I think mine is the povo pack version.
About $60 it cost I think.
