Anyone know where Lazarus brown is ? Haven’t seen him been named for saints ?

He had a hand injury earlier in the season but with Kurt Falls going well, Brown moved to Macquarie Scorpions in the Newcastle comp a month ago.

Also, Zac Greene, who spent the preseason with Mounties but could only land selection in one game vs blacktown, returned to Wollongong Wests.

Mounties prop, Willie Mataka, who broke his arm during preseason, made his comeback with feeder club, Emu Plains on the weekend. Also in the Emu team was St Marys prop, Tom Romer.

Asquith's Jake Attard is out for the season. Had to have reconstructive surgery on his face after a shocking head clash against Cabra.

Also Ben Mathiou has left Asquith and joined Blacktown.

Are you 100% on that injury, I had heard it was Jared Palmer that was the one injured. Happy to be corrected.

Very understrength. Had about 6 Massey regulars play Canterbury Cup

And Wenty had more resources available than usual as Parramatta provided 13 players to NSW Cup as opposed to the usual 7 to 10 players. Wenty have now run up 40 against both Mounties and St Marys. Asquith continued their dominant form and Brothers took another step forward with their 3rd win with a 33-14 upset win against Wests after they trailed 14-0 in the first 20 minutes. Brothers sit equal with Hills on 3 wins above the bottom 2 in Blacktown and GBW. Cabra look unbeatable in SS.

RMC
Brothers 33 Wests 14
Cabra 20 GBW 6
Asquith 46 Guildford 18
Wenty 42 Mounties 0
St Marys 38 Blacktown 10

SS
Guildford 18 Asquith 14
Cabra 44 Uni 4
Wenty 34 Ryde Eastwood 26
Hills 38 Belrose 28
St Marys 34 Moorebank 32
ECE 28 Brothers 12

Week off this week for both comps bar Cabra & Mounties in Massey - they'll play a catch-up game from earlier in the season when New Era wasn't available.

Think you will find the game was postponed as this weekend is Cabra's 100 year celebration and they have a full day playing mounties, from kids to RM Cup. Alot of other functions as well

Frank Pritchard is back. Cabra have had to put a number of "no names" into the team to stay under the points cap.
Word is that the players have had enough of Yates. Apparently Jack Morris had an offer to play Cantebury Cup for Norths as a swap for Honeti Tuha but Yatesy denied him that opportunity and has now dropped him out of the Massey team on points for new signing Honeti Tuha and Frank Pritchard.

Jack needs to come back to QLD, and salvage his career.

The Guildford side playing Dubbo CYMS in the Challenge Cup final today:

1 Dom Reardon 2 Dan Lotu 3 Siua Lapuaho 4 Matt Ryan 5 Jarrod Petero 6 Peni Manumalealii 7 Rob Longbottom 8 Joe Gardner 9 Aaron Grech 10 Taniela Lasalo 11 Blake Judd 12 Matt Woods 12 Dylan McKeown 14 Daniel Harris 15 Lachlan Camroux 16 Jack Wheelhouse 17 Mason Farrell 18 Jake Ferguson 19 Jadyn Field 20 Beni Valu

After 15 minutes Guildford lead 10-4. CYMS scored first on the back of a couple penalties and the Dylan Mckeown went in for Guildford followed by an all in melee sees 2 from each side in the side. Dan Lotu gets the Owls 2nd try after a perfect grubber by Manumalealii.

At the 20 minute mark, Matt Ryan pushes over with 4 defenders clinging to him. Owls up 14-4 at quarter time break. At 29 minutes, Corey Cox breaks through on half way to put CYMS in the red zone and then sets up the winger with a flick pass. Owls 14-4. Right on half time a cut out pass delivers a 2nd try to Dan Lotu. Owls lead 20-10.

Tries to Reardon and Manumalealii have Guildford in control at 30-10. Another melee and 2 more in the bin. CYMS dive over from dummy half and it is 30-16 at 3/4 time. Tries to Woods and Lapuaho in the final quarter sees Guildford singing the club song with a 42-16 win. Matt Rickard came on during the game so at least one change to the Guildford lineup.
