We’ve been the better team by quite a fair way, but it was just our kicking game has let us down again. That last ten minutes was very good and I’m glad we got some points on the board.
Half time came at a bad time for us actually. We were on a bit of a roll there with lots of enthusiasm, and Souths seemed a bit deflated. Hopefully we come out for the second half with some more of that energy.

Well done boys for the first half. Let’s keep it going in the second.

Moses improved. Such a confidence player.
Yep. I reckon he needs to work himself into the game (and be able to hold back when things aren’t going so well) which suits a 6 who touches the ball less.

Drown oozes composure and class, but not so much the flamboyance of a Moses. I reckon his game management and ability to stick to a plan would be comparable to Moses’ right now, purely due to his calmness, and it will only get better.

I'm glad you agreed with me! I worried for a bit that, because I like Evans, that perhaps I saw him perform better than he actually did!

But he looked strong on both sides of the ball to me.

I was a bit worried about his selection but I'm glad he's making the most of the opportunity so far.

Those two passes on the left to Lane on the burst are aren't fooling anybody. We're quite poor within the Souths 20 as well. At least our defence is good, minimal mistakes and coming out of our red zone is a big step up from previous weeks.

We've still been rubbish

I wouldn’t say rubbish.
Defence has been good, forwards have been making decent metres. Just some poor kicks and lacklustre ends to some of our sets. Those two tries hopefully have given them the confidence to get that stuff sorted for the second half.

Wally Lewis medal on Sportsbet!
Do I go Tedesco, Cook, DCE, Ponga or short priced favourite Billy Slater?
