His dumb penalty for laying on a player late in the tackle count led to their first try. And he was lazy in defense a couple of times too in that first half, prob coz he was left on too long. But yes his second stint was much worse
I completely forgot about that shit after witnessing all the other shit

BA said in press conference Ferguson won’t be back next week, is in hospital with knee infection, however Blake should be ready.

Ruck defence was terrible, but thought we did ok to stay in the game for the first 25 or so minutes.

Thought our bench didn’t offer much, so we couldnt change momentum.

We let in 2 tries from kicks where we let the ball get stolen in the air. Parry had a poor attempt on Parker for another one. While Manu also let one in with poor defence, and wasn’t at his best. While a couple were easy ones on the wing which seems to be a problem for us now (2 on Sivo’s side)

Lane dropped a ball in the first half which may have put us in good position and potentially changed the game.

Halves were good, Brown was good.

We did ok to keep the score respectable but our defence needs fixing!!

Overall the result was probably as expected sadly.

Finally we basically had a reserve grade backline, will be good to get Jennings / Blake / Ferguson back.

Bring on the warriors!
Fair enough assessment. We don't travel well at all and still don't show significant improvement in that area. Basically, that game showed me that while we have improved significantly this season, we won't be a force come finals time, assuming we make it. Having said that, I reckon we will beat the Sea Slugs at Bankwest.

Looking forward to seeing Blake in the team. Agree we missed Fergo today.

Forwards - N Brown, Gower and Paulo went ok. The rest were average. With Tep and Ma’u going, (a great thing) of the rest, worth persevering with Lane and Mahoney, but Decore and Evans need to go with Tep and Ma’u.

Backs - halves were our best, Gutho tried hard. Looking forward to having our starting centers back and of course Fergo

A fairly predictable result from 5 minutes in. Defensive structure and tackle technique remains diabolical. The experts say BA is an "Effort Coach" so if the effort isnt there its not going to end well.
The score should have been much worse. The Storm would have put 100 on us today.
Drown was awesome.
Why do we persist with moving forwards from edge to center then back again? This cant be helping.
Ricky and Des improved their teams defence in one pre season. Do you think they would tell BA if he asked nicely?
Hopefully the return game V Manly is better given I have already purchased tickets.
Id be very surprised if Alvaro dosent get a jumper next week.
Go Parra.
