From my club its gotta be Corey Thompson but I actually think Moses will win it. I hate to say it but I think if the Eels win the majority of their remaining games he'll come away with 8 or so points at least and take it out zz

Wash your mouth out.

It's a bit of a joke isn't it?

The competition's premier award and because a player comes from a team with other good players they take points from each other and the best player misses out, also State of Origin not included. The flow on effect of this is the positional awards are out of whack with the obvious best in each position not always winning. I like Luke Brooks but no way was he the best half back last year and anyone that tells you any different has lost it.

Best player at the Tigers this year has been Corey Thompson.

State of Origin is included I thought?

Just had a look and it looks like they are not counted but it has been amended so a players best 21 rounds will be counted giving the rep players a better chance.

"Players are eligible to receive points for the Dally M Player of the Year in NRL Telstra Premiership matches only (each player's best 21 point-receiving matches will be taken into account, allowing for the stand down rounds during the Origin period)"

I don't think this is really true, when you look at who has won it in the past. Looking at the list of winners, you're a much better chance of taking the award if you play in a winning team, rather than if you're the only good player in a losing team.

The last player to win it from a team outside the top 8 was Jarryd Hayne in 2014 (joint winner), and before him you've got Buderus in 2004, and Trent Barrett in 2000.

In 7 of the last 11 years the winner has played for a team that reached the grand final.

Only by the EO.
You will recall that when Menzies was acting the clown with Fletch and Hindy . . . his catch-cry was "Eo"
From that we can conclude that the Polynesians, the British, AND the Northern beaches all used the suffix "EO" in their nomenclature.
History shows that the 70s and 80s American band called "R Speedwagon" were a group of nobodies until they added the powerful "EO" on to their name and became the much loved REO Speedwagon.
They heard it from a friend who heard it from a friend who heard it from another. Yes, they want to keep on loving you.
Quoted, because this deserves more recognition than it’s got..

Not my club but I'd be shocked and appalled if Bradley Parker lost out to one of those Trebojovic brothers.
Bradley Parker melts down the metal from old Dally M medals, and makes new studs for his left boot. But only for his left boot, which is also made from the hide of a Chimera killed by a virgin from Surry Hills...

His right boot was made from the recycled engine block and interior of a 1993, wide body Camry (Bowls Spec Auto, in Champagne of course!). It reminds him of his mortal roots, and keeps him grounded when the blood thirst becomes almost unbearable :joy::joy:

Looks like a race between Smith and Teddy.

Would love Smith to get another one, but Tedesco has been near unstoppable second half of the season.

Tedesco is the shortest odds I've seen to win Dally M for some time. $1.72

I think him being rested a couple times this year from origin might cost him though?

On the actual topic

Its hard to split Brooks, Marshall and Matterson from my team

Probably Matterson for consistency

Nope. Have a look at Crazyperpman's post upthread, Dally M's are calculated based on each player's best 21 point-receiving matches will be taken into account. If Tedesco plays in Round 25 v Souths, that will be his 21st NRL game this year so the stand downs won't effect his score.

The Social Media administrator for the Dragons.

24 grueling rounds of turd-polishing each match. Each time pressing the "post" button with that sickness in the pit of the stomach, knowing of the nuclear barrage that will soon follow..

Who-ever you are, keep strong.. only one round to go!
