Have you guys signed Catalan dragons fullback/centre Tony gigot??
If he is cheap and played 1 good game in the last 10 years he is a real chance of us signing him.
If he managed to score a try (emphasis on a) in that time his odds will shorten dramatically.
If he can surf or ride a jet ski not only will we have signed him but he will get to see out his career here.

It doesn't matter who the club buys or keeps for the future. They will eventually end up like a lot of the players there now. I'm hearing the players who won't be here much longer are relived because the place is in freefall. Why would anyone want to stay in a place that won't cut out the cancer that's causing the rot?

You have just described Tim Lafai, so he will be signed and never dropped no matter how bad he plays.

I wonder what pet name McGregor choose for this guy.
"Tone" or "Gig" should be interesting.

Look him up on Wikepedia. He trained with the Dragons in 2013 and then played a season with the Sharks. He has a clouded drugs background which he challenged and won. He could be a good utility player as he has scored
over 50 tries and is a goal kicker.

Ricky Stuart looks at Super League and sees John Bateman, Elliot Whitehead and Josh Hodgson.

Paul McGregor looks at the same competition and sees Tony Gigot.

We're no certainties to get Gigot though - apparently there's competition from Huddersfield and Toronto...

For pity sake don’t tell possum about this little acorn of Mary’s recruitment strategy as he will no longer be able to call such stuff - ups a Millward mess .

Gigot heading to the NRL

Tony Gigot will play in the NRL next season after signing for St George Illawarra Dragons, report League Express.

The full-back has rejected a deal at Catalans and he will take up a contract with the Dragons in the southern hemisphere next season, according to League Express. Gigot enjoyed a short spell with Cronulla Sharks in 2013, but failed to make an NRL appearance

Obviously meant to be the FB solution.

Tony Gigot will most likely be playing full back, but he can also play centre or five eighth
.
Tony Gigot will become the first Frenchman to score 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and finally 10 tries in the NRL.

if we are meant to believe all the rumors, backline starts looking like the below.

1. Sailor / Lomax / Dufty
2. Mcdonald
3. Gigot
4. Morris
5. Sio

6. Norman
7. Hunt

Id take the above a couple of hard nose centres and some smart finishing wingers w a question mark over Nene...

Gigot’s highlights are a bit iffy, and quiet old. Even Aitken could put together a better highlights reel.

He’d be 29 next year or 30 in Dec 2020.

Knocked back a contract at Catalans? What sort of contract did he knock back? What are we offering him because aint marquee.

A big NO from me, too old for mine, surely we can find better prospects.
