It really is not mentioned enough that they have not won in 13 years and only once in 19 years. For a club of their wealth, that is hopeless.

Bunnies are the biggest club in the world accordingly to their fans but have won one premiership in 40 years ?

Broncos had a good patch in 90’s early ‘00s but every winning era comes to an end.

Broncos used to get rid of morons like Julian O'neill (after he pissed over the blackjack dealer), even if they were good talent. Now they sign them up (Lodge) They also got rid of players before thier time to bring through new talent (exit Gillmister, Lazarus) now they sign them for 3 extra years past thier expiry date (Dari, Thaiday)

That and the arrogance/ being the only team in Brisbane is doing them no favours. Bring back the mighty Crushers.

Tommy Deardon has the potential to be a gun NRL halfback.

Just needs to stop getting injured.

Turpin at 9, Milford given the offseason to get fit or QLD cup, grab a random 6 and 7 from QLD cup and the team is instantly improved.

The young forward pack hype is too much, they look good making hit ups and breaking tackles but the defensive inefficiency’s are overlooked. How the hell did Staggs make more tackles than an 80m second rower in Fifita!?

It was quite obvious Parramatta's game plan was to get it wide and take advantage of their big wingers and with all the ball they had, they had every chance to do that.

I don't think they're over hyped at all but at the same time the hype is a result of them needing to be individually brilliant every week to make up for our lack of direction in the halves.

Obviously the spine is a problem. Has been for years. Bennett is responsible for that. Boyd and McCullogh's best is just a memory. Not going to see anything near it again.

I never understood the huge money Bennett paid for Milford. Up there with some of the worst signings in the NRL the past 5 yrs.

Can't do much about it until they are all gone. Maybe Milford can recapture some form at fullback with an off season training there?

I agree except for this, he was the only decent centre for the Broncos before he got injured, they've been playing Alex Glenn at centre to finish the season because everyone else is trash.

Boyd and McCullough have got to go - if the board doesn't have the stones to pay out their contracts then they can kiss 2020 goodbye.
All good, but if they pay out their contracts, does it not get included in the cap? For all other teams anyway

Major problem I see is that the Broncos don't have a leader. They don't have an enforcer. Think about it:

Panthers have (had) Maloney
Sharks have (had) Gallen
Storm have Smith
Roosters? Take your pick

But Brisbane (like a few other teams) don't have a leader, which sorely showed today when Parra were about 16-0 up. That's the point where you need a player like JT/ Locky/ Freddy/ Joey to rally the side around and get them to re-focus. Brisbane have some promising young forwards but they need that senior leader- think a Lazarus/ Tallis/ Webcke type to make a few busts and inspire the rest to follow. That's before even talking about how they got carved up on both the left and right lanes today- the only reason Parra were so confident throwing those long passes is because nobody on either side from the Broncos posed the threat of grabbing an intercept.

Said it before that the word "rebuild" gets thrown about hastily by pissed off fans in the heat of a loss, but that club is in dire need of one- starting with the board and working its' way down. Otherwise another generation of Qld players with great potential are going to prefer heading 2000kms south to bleak city, a distant third behind the Victory and the AFL as opposed to staying in SEQ and being a big name on their home turf.

f**k off

There are two other clubs in qld ffs

Once again the broncos ( despite what you and they think) are not all of qld

A good half will fall into their lap one way or another. The NRL can't have a weak Broncos leading into the next tv deal.

Is there a more overrated forward in the comp than Menacing 8 yr olds Matty Lodge???

Absolute MIA just a gutless POS, 700k for him lol @ the Ken Talbotless Broncos.

Their advantage went out the window the same time he did.
