Hi Guys, I've been over on the NRL game thread stirring the ants about that pass.
I think it went forward out of the hand (and even if it went back ((who can tell)) I am fine with what ever the ref calls on those ones that drift a long way forward). Mainly I love that the Manly fans think it went backward and that they were robbed. I know that feeling and it sucks and I love that Manly fans are feeling it. I effing hate Manly.

Awesome to get away with the 2 points at the end, but it was really only some fairly poor unforced errors throughout the match that kept Manly in the contest.

Probably a lucky call at the end for us, but they still shouldn't have got to that situation.
We learned a pretty good lesson about not putting the cue in the rack. At 18-2 our intensity fell off the cliff and Manly ended up with all the ball in the second half.

Whether it was forward or not, they got a dodgy try earlier which people fail to mention there. Stiff sh1t Manly.

Ran for 200+ metres but yes, brain farts galore

He made a good line break with pass to support in Gutho as well that would have been a try in another era. He really should have scored from that intercept. Kenny should get to punch him in the arse over that.

I think what everyone fails to mention is that the touchie was in the best position to call it.
Camera was not in line.
The whole situation is made to look worse because Garrick plants the ball down and Gutho didn't belt the crap out of him.
We were the better side.
If they dont award Kaufusi a try they shouldn't award Walker one either.

My thoughts.

- We should have put that game away in the first 20 minutes. Attacking plays were lame and we looked devoid of ideas.
- Our defence is f**king awesome.
- The turbo boys were largely unseen and we virtually made them irrelevant from the game. Well done BA.
- I reckon we look more dangerous when we play a bit more Parraball. We need to, at times, keep the ball alive. Nothing outrageous, just an occasional off-load or 2nd runner, with backs acting as support play.
- We have seriously good defence this season, although I think a team like the Roosters will test us.
- That last pass for Manly's try was fine. We dodged a bullet there.

Furthermore,

- Moses's defence has improved sooooo much. I'm really impressed at how much of an improvement it has been compared to when he arrived at the Eels.. Commentators need to pay attention to this and seriously give him credit for it.
- Dylan Brown's defence is also awesome.
- BA has them working hard. Not for a long time have I seen such intensity for sustained periods of games.

It's nice to again be leading the comp.

.

And Sivo smashed Turbo, driving him backwards, that's what made the touchie call it forward for mine.
