And to be clear, none of this has ever been used as excuse by the raiders and it wont be this week either.
The panthers are a bloody good team who will beat us if we're not at our best... and they'll be motivated to do so given we exposed them last year as total and utter pretenders

I dont think the panthers can beat us at our best but without Hodgson we cant reach those heights. This will be a good game. I can see it going any which way.

How do you fix it though? If there was a solution that wasnt being looked at I could get the angst. But at the moment you may as well be whinging that you wish your dick was larger. It is what it is. If you want a shoulder to cry on re your scheduling on FTA I'm here for you all the way, my shout for 3 ply tissues with aloe. That is something that can be fixed. Short of dragging Canberra to the outskirts of Campbeltown your travel will always suck.

The competion is built on "parity" there is 10000 ways to fix it
The f**k are you f**king talking about mate?

But fine, im done here. You're the real victim here.
Jesus wept.

Here is one way to even the ledger...the scheudaling should have been, in this circumstance, flexible enough to have this game played in canberra. Make the panthers travel for the second f**king time in their season. They'd have no cause for complaint.
Canberra is and has been virtually clean of COVID, the panthers who have lived out of Cambrage Park can just as easily bus down and back to canberra as we can, and we've barely even sniffed our home area

There is a simple solution that would go someway to address a lack of parity in this years competition

There you go. For one week you help address it.
You're welcome

Canberra has been the most benefitted from the stadiums situation. Just two games taken away from them! Just slap on a Happy Feet film on the bus ride for each one. There’s a reason why they made two of them!

I'm not claiming to be the victim. I'm happy to admit we got lucky travel wise this year. I just dont see how to fix Canberra's travel issues when the rest of the teams are based so far away. I would love to hear a realistic solution.

Still sounds to me like whinging and making excuses. But that’s just Canberra all over!

Or failing the idea of playing this game in canberra, maybe just STFU about a club clearly disadvanaged "whinging" about a rough hand being dealt to them
Either or would work me.

I personally wouldnt have a big problem with that. We still get the gate etc being our home game, you win on the travel.

The gate? Haha of course you want the gate

like busing it around sydney and the travel costs is comensurate with that of our club.
My god, how f**king entitled are you?

Unbelievable. The lack of self awareness is utterly embarrasing.

Seriously? I'm pretty sure the NRL are picking up the tab on your travel costs for the games you were shafted on.

LOL that's the point you want to argue?
We had to fight to even get permission to take a private flight to Campbelltown instead of a 3 hour bus to a HOME game... you rolled 30 minutes coasting up an empty M4 for AWAY fixtures. Just stop it.

Honestly, i've read between the lines here. Not even you believe the shit you're trying to peddle here. The panthers are a gun team. I grew up there, St Clair to be exact. I take great pride in that junior system because it one i played in, and developed me into a througherly rubbish footballer who couldnt hang :D

None of this matters. The best team will win on the weekend and form has the panthers rightfully heavy favourites but im quite done with hearing idiots lilke you who dont want to accept that reality on realities terms with COVID had benefitted your club. It doesnt invalidate their season, it doesnt diminish it

But maybe just take your lot in life, and i dont know? Put a f**king sock in it when we dame to point out some issues that have impacted our attempt to win a title.

I know let’s just let Canberra play every game at home. Would that make it fair for you?

Let's start with 50% of games, vs 92%
And you can miss me entirely with this Penrith vs Parramatta arguement
I spent 22 years of my life in Penrith, i know that shit doesnt matter

I lived in St Clair, Werrington and Blacktown and travelled all over the West. You guys having to play out of BankWest aint shit. And you know it.

Grow a brain! But if you did that you wouldn’t be a Canberra fan!

Quote me whinging about our lot. I've said we got a good deal. I can sympathise with what the regional teams have faced this year & every year for that matter. Injuries & inconsistency have f**ked your season more than travel has. As fans it's beyond our control anyway, short of loading the Panthers team on a bus & making them chuck laps up & down High St for 3 hours before the game what can you do.

It should be a cracker of a game in any case. And if the lead up is any indication the game day thread will deliver as well come Saturday night.

Whatever!
May the best team win on Saturday, and if Penrith win please don’t claim to be hard done by!
