Gould's agenda to promote Marshall was as blatant as it could get. Marshall throws a pass into touch and Gould blames the winger. And then he double downs, repeatedly laying into the young winger. The truth is, Marshall didn't look to where his supports were - he threw the ball blind. According to Gould, this is part of the Marshall genius.

Benji this... Benji that....Gould is doing to Marshall what Mossop did to Manly.

get benji, and cam smith, that would shake things up a bit
very experienced players you could only dream of having
We don't need Benji as we have been there and done that anc could not wait for him to move on.

Cam Smith is another matter however, I am sure we are not even in his considerations. It would be Melbourne or Brisbane and that's it.

So why doesn't Benji get a job at the Warriors - Gould's new home.

I don't know possm. But they are obviously mates. In fact, Marshall has a lot of mates in the media. It has always been that way, ever since he first played NRL. The problem with Gus is that he hasn't yet realised that that was 17 years ago.

At best, Gould is trying to fabricate the image of Marshall leaving on a 'high note'.

Marshall already has played one season too many, maybe a few. IMO, Tigers are doing him a favour.
