I wouldn't be surprised if the growth in streaming would make up a lot if not all of those

It really bugs me that streaming numbers aren't widely reported, its literally the easiest of the platforms to actually track accurately

Streaming almost certainly will make up some if not all of this - the gap was less than 300,000 - and these were streamed on Nine as well, for which we have no data this year at all.

Week two of footy finals coverage attracted an average national audience of 447K per match across the combined platforms of Foxtel Linear (cable & satellite) and Foxtel Streaming Platforms (Foxtel Go, Foxtel Now and Kayo).

I'm surprised streaming hasn't caught up to Foxtel yet. Still 2:1 - 3:1 in favour of PTV. Maybe a generational thing?

Could be closer if you add streaming from 9now and the NRL app - I dont think we have ever had any indication of what numbers from those are like though?

9 streaming numbers are a week behind - should fall somewhere between 30 and 40,000 per game. Mobile data is real hard to come by, if ever.

I hope we can compete with the Fumbles ratings tonight, but judging from the finals games leading up, I dont like our chances.

Will Melbourne NRL do better than Sydney AFL (should do as no Sydney rep in AFL gf)
Will Brisbane NRL do better than Brisbane AFL?

Those AFL ratings will make the tv executives push for a night GF. They’ll be in full meltdown mode down south when it goes to a night GF
