I think Ivan made a massive mistake dropping Nadan out of the side.

I never bought the whole narrative that he was a liability. Plenty of centres let in tries. You don’t change a winning team over a handful of lapses.

Nadan was marking the attacking powerhouse in Brenko Lee.

The worst part is that the Storm were not even that great. They did what had to be done but we were our own worst enemy.

If Penrith turned up to play, they win. Instead we were left wanting.

The penalty try is a try every day of the week.

Mansour’s no try was debatable. Both Lee and Vunivalu committed to Crichton.

Kikau passing back into Kaufusi needed to be challenged. You’re down 16-0. Take a chance. Instead we let Leota piss that one away.

As sickening as it is seeing them win or go close to winning the gf every year this century, it just shows how good Bellamy is. Yes he's had Smith, Slater and co. over the years, but the amount of discards and journeymen, he's turned into premiership winners is incredible.

Smith has achieved nearly everything there is to achieve in rugby league (except Clive Churchill Medal). I don't know why he'd want to continue on for another season other than becoming:

1) the first player to reach 450 NRL matches
2) the first NRL player to also referee the same match he played in, or
3) not having to put up with the wife nagging at home.

Already achieving 2 and 3 under his current deal.
